Hamnet with Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley
Following Nomadland (2020) and Eternals (2021), Chinese director Chloé Zhao returns with Hamnet. In this historical drama, adapted from Maggie O’Farrell’s novel, Paul Mescal plays William Shakespeare, a character haunted by the death of his son, while Jessie Buckley lends her intensity to Agnès, the enigmatic wife and emotional anchor of the story. Deeply moving, Hamnet already stands out as one of the first major films of 2026.
La Grazia by Paolo Sorrentino
Premiering at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, La Grazia marks Paolo Sorrentino’s grand return in competition. The Neapolitan filmmaker, already awarded on the Lido in 2021, delivers his eleventh feature. The film is described as a love story loosely inspired by François Truffaut’s romantic narratives.
Starring Toni Servillo, who won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for this role, and young actress Anna Farzetti, the film thrilled audiences at the festival. After Parthenope (2023), which received mixed reviews, La Grazia signals a return to a more classical and emotional aesthetic, much to the delight of the director’s fans.

Gourou with Pierre Niney
With Gourou, Yann Gozlan reunites with Pierre Niney. After A Perfect Man (2015) and Black Box (2021), the duo once again proves to be one of the most compelling collaborations in contemporary French cinema. Presented as a high-tension paranoid thriller, the film follows a charismatic speaker, whose confidence masks a deep toxicity.
In an interview with Variety, Yann Gozlan revealed that his inspirations range from Tom Cruise in Magnolia (1999) to Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler (2014). All hinting at an intense role for Pierre Niney and a dark dive into the inner workings of persuasion. A must-watch and one of the most anticipated French features of 2026.

Wuthering Heights with Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi
Following her work on Saltburn, Emerald Fennell’s film Wuthering Heights, offers a fiery reinterpretation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel of the same name published in 1847. The cast features none other than Margot Robbie as Catherine and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. The film also promises an exciting original score by brat girl Charli xcx.
Set against the wild landscapes of Yorkshire and true to its gothic roots, the story tackles doomed love, devastating passions, family feuds, and revenge.
Marty Supreme with Timothée Chalamet
In 2026, Josh Safdie is set to make waves with the release of Marty Supreme. In this sports thriller, Timothée Chalamet plays Marty Mauser, a New York tennis table prodigy, navigating tension, social satire, and the extremes of competition. Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, and Tyler, the Creator round out that stellar cast.
In numerous interviews, Timothée Chalamet shared that he underwent intensive training for the role, taking his tennis table from London to Abu Dhabi, Budapest and Cannes. With a record budget of $70 million invested by A24, the film explores the figure of the modern-day champion, torn between entertainment and the pursuit of perfection.

The Bride! with Penélope Cruz and Christian Bale
Originally slated for release on September 24th, 2025, the much-anticipated film The Bride! has been postponed to March 4th, 2026. The film is loosely inspired by the 1935 classic movie Bride of Frankenstein.
This time, however, it is directed by actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and stars Christian Bale and Penélope Cruz. A fantastical feature that will explore a different side of the creature that continues to captivate our imagination.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 with Anne Hathaway
Nearly twenty years after the original film, the iconic character of Andrea Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, is back to the big screen. The Devil Wears Prada 2 will also see Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt back on set. The sequel will reveal what became of the once shy assistant after her venture into the ruthless world of fashion.
Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, and Pauline Chalamet have also joined the cast, along with Kenneth Branagh, who plays Miranda Priestly’s husband. With surprise guests including Lady Gaga and Sydney Sweeney, and a stop at the Fashion Week, the film promises to be both glamorous and wild… And will not doubt set social media on fire.

The Odyssey with Matt Damon
Nearly three years after the resounding success of Oppenheimer (2023), Christopher Nolan takes on a colossal new project – a fresh adaptation of Homer’s epic. Titled The Odyssey, the film follows Odysseus (played by Matt Damon) on his journey back to Ithaca after the Trojan War. Anne Hathaway (Penelope), Tom Holland (Telemachus), Zendaya (Athena), and Charlize Theron (Circe the sorceress) will join him on screen.
Filmed across multiple continents, including the Sicilian island of Favignana, this feature promises an epic fresco infused with dramatic tension, in the spirit of Gladiator. The already impressive cast also includes Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, John Leguizamo, and Benny Safdie, hinting at a film whose ambition is as great as its €250 million budget…

Dune: Part Three with Timothée Chalamet
More than a year after the release of Dune: Part Two, Denis Villeneuve has begun filming the final chapter of the saga in Hungary. Based on Frank Herbert’s novel Messiah of Dune, this third and final instalment sees Timothée Chalamet returning as Paul Atreides – now Emperor – and facing threats both inside and outside the walls of his palace.
The cast also include with Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke, who will portray the children of Paul and Chani (Zendaya). Lastly, legendary composer Hans Zimmer, who scored the first two movies, is expected to return to bring a powerful musical close to the epic saga…
