The films and series to stream in November 2025

November 2025 promises to be a hot month on streaming platforms. With the much-anticipated releases of the series All’s Fair (2025), starring Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close on Disney+, the debut of I Love LA, Rachel Sennott’s irreverent new comedy series on HBO Max, and the return of Landman with Demi Moore on Paramount+… The streaming giants are pulling out all the stops to keep us entertained on autumn evenings.

    November 2025 on Netflix with Jacob Elordi and Emilia Clarke

    The month gets off to a strong start on Netflix, which is doubling down on dark, ambitious productions. On November 5, La French (2012) by Cédric Jimenez, starring Jean Dujardin, takes us back to the 1970s in Marseille, at the heart of the “French Connection,” a mafia network flooding the world with heroin. The next day, the mini-series Death by Lightning (2025) will revisit the tragic fate of the 20th President of the United States, assassinated by his biggest admirer.

    Then, comes one of the most eagerly-awaited films of the season. Frankenstein, starring Jacob Elordi and Mia Goth, which was presented at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, will finally land on the platform on November 7th. The romantic drama It Ends With Us (2024), starring Blake Lively, will also come out that day. On November 10th, the psychological thriller Drop Game (2025) will feature Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) trapped in a restaurant suspended high above the city, in a tense closed-door drama.

    On November 13th, actor Matthew Rhys will shine in The Beast in Me, a haunting series in which he embodies a writer tormented by the death of his child. The mood lightens on November 17th, with the romantic comedy Last Christmas (2019) taking place in London, directed by Paul Feig and starring Emilia Clarke. And to close out the month in style, Netflix will finally release the first episodes of Stranger Things season 5 on November 27th. This will mark the highly-anticipated finale of the cult series…

    Series with Rachel Sennott and Demi Moore on HBO Max and Paramount+

    November 2025 looks simply dazzling on HBO Max and Paramount+, with satire, period drama and power struggles on the menu. On November 3rd, the sharp new voice of American comedy Rachel Sennott will unveil I Love LA, a hilarious, ruthless series exploring the excesses of influencer culture and the cult of appearances in Los Angeles. Two days later, Virginie Efira will once again intrigue and captivate us in Madeleine Collins (2021), in which she plays a woman torn between two lives.

    Then, on November 14th, HBO Max will premiere Merteuil, a venomous reimagining of Dangerous Liaisons starring Diane Kruger, Anamaria Vartolomei and Vincent Lacoste. An elegant, yet cruel game of seduction and manipulation. To close out the month, Little Women (2019) by Greta Gerwig, with Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh, will join the HBO Max catalog on November 30th. A perfect film to watch during long autumn evenings.

    On November 6th, we’re off to West Texas with the new season of Landman on Paramount+. Hollywood star Demi Moore takes us behind the scenes of the American oil industry, rife with money, ambition and corruption.

    As for Disney+, the platform is banking on nostalgia and glamour to warm up the month of November. On November 4th, one of the most anticipated series of this Fall, All’s Fair, will makes its debut. Starring Kim Kardashian and Naomi Watts, this sultry legal drama where power, image and truth clash through razor-sharp courtroom battles, showcases the influencer and businesswoman as a ruthless attorney.

    A few days later, on November 12th, it will be time for a nostalgic treat for an entire generation with Freaky Friday 2. Twenty-two years after the original film, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reunite once again for a sequel packed with humour and emotion.

    What’s new on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video in November 2025?

    Prime Video is making a strong impression this month with several enticing releases. On November 7th, the German series Maxton Hall returns for a highly-anticipated second season, filled with romantic entanglements and escalating tensions in the corridors of England’s most elite university.

    Then, on November 21st, Amazon Prime Video delves into mystery with The Age of Disclosure, a documentary exploring one of the greatest secrets of modern times… Does the US government really have evidence of extraterrestrial life? Testimonies from former agents, archival footage and cross-referenced investigations all create this captivating narrative.

    Apple TV+ has also unveils its fall lineup. On November 7th, the platform will premiere Pluribus, Vince Gilligan‘s latest creation, the mastermind behind Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. This sci-fi series starring Rhea Seehorn is presented as one of the major television events of the end of this year and promises an explosive mix of tension and irony set in a future where technology upends the balance of power.

    Finally, November 26th will see the release of WondLa, season 3. Inspired by Tony DiTerlizzi’s novels, this animated series blending science fiction and fantasy continues to charm its audience with its mix of emotion, adventure and cosmic exploration.

    Culte: 2be3, among the must-watch streaming series of 2025

    In October 2025, Culte: 2Be3 was a must-watch on Amazon Prime Video. The new anthology series, which had previously focused on Loft Story, now charts the meteoric rise of 2Be3, France’s first boy band, starring Antoine Simony as Filip Nikolic. Also last October, the James Bond saga was added to the Amazon Prime Video catalog, along with the film Eden, starring Jude Law, Ana de Armas and Vanessa Kirby.

    Last September, Netflix subscribers were treated to the second part of Wednesday, season 2, starring Lady Gaga. Also on the platform, the romantic comedy French Lover, starring Omar Sy and Sara Giraudeau, was worth watching. Meanwhile, Apple TV+ premiered Highest 2 Lowest, a new thriller by Spike Lee starring A$AP Rocky and Denzel Washington.

    The must-see films and series streaming last summer

    August 2025 saw several major releases on streaming platforms. Fans couldn’t miss the return of Jenna Ortega in the first part of Wednesday season 2. On Prime Video, Hollywood star Eddie Murphy led The Pickup, an explosive action comedy with Pete Davidson. And on Apple TV+, the third season of the sci-fi ensemble series Invasion, led by actress Golshifteh Farahani, was a must-watch.

    Last July, Lena Dunham‘s series Too Much, starring Adèle Exarchopoulos and Emily Ratajkowski, quickly became one of the platform’s flagship titles. On Disney+, viewers were treated to the re-release of All of Us Strangers (2024), an intimate fantasy drama by Andrew Haigh, starring Paul Mescal an Andrew Scott.

    June 2025 marked the return of the cult series Squid Game for a third season. On Apple TV+, the release of Echo Valley was not to be missed. The gripping family thriller, directed by Michael Pearce, starred Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney.

    In May on Netflix, Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock are back with the series Sirens, a sharp and addictive dark comedy. On Prime Video, Quentin Tarantino’s gem Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, made its debut on the platform. Meanwhile, Apple TV+ released Fountain of Youth (2025) by Guy Ritchie, an explosive adventure film starring Natalie Portman, John Krasinski, and Eiza González.

    Black Mirror was among the must-watch series streaming in April 2025

    April 2025 marked the return of Black Mirror with six brand-new episodes on Netflix. Prime Video premiered Étoile, a new creation by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino (Gilmore Girls). It offered a behind-the-scenes at a ballet company in New York and Paris, with Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou de Laâge as the lead characters. On Disney+, the must-watch film was Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. And Apple TV+ presented Carême (April 30th), a series that explores the fascinating life of the first Michelin-starred chef who doubled as a spy under Napoleon, starring Benjamin Voisin and Lyna Khoudri.

    The must-see films and shows released earlier this year…

    In March 2025 on Netflix, the spotlight was on the highly-anticipated series Adolescence, as well as The Leopard, a modern reading of Luchino Visconti’s classic starring Deva Cassel. On Disney+, the series Daredevil: Born Again came out, alongside the family comedy Alexander and His Horrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Trip, starring Eva Longoria.

    February also offered some exciting new content for fans of series and indie cinema. On Max, the highly-awaited third season of The White Lotus premiered on February 17, while Apple TV+ unveiled The Gorge, a series starring Anya Taylor-Joy. On Netflix, viewers could watch Apple Cider Vinegar on February 6th, starring Kaitlyn Dever, which raises essential questions about the impact influencers have on our daily lives.

    January 2025 kicked off with a packed schedule, including thrilling series and gripping films. Guillaume Canet took the lead in Ad Vitam on Netflix, an addictive thriller in which he plays a former GIGN agent facing a state scandal. Regarding the Netflix series, the successful action series The Night Agent returned for a second season on January 23rd. And documentary enthusiasts enjoyed Don’t Die: The Man Who Wanted to Live Forever on January 1st, directed by Chris Smith.
