This spring, denim makes its way into makeup collections
Indigo at times, raw or faded, the iconic denim is everywhere and takes the shape of trousers, shirts and jackets… Free-spirited and timeless, this fabric can reinvent itself endlessly. Today, indigo twill is stepping out of fashion to inspire the world of beauty. Guerlain is celebrating denim by giving it a new, precious dimension with the Blooming Denim collection. The house’s iconic cases — Rouge G, Ombres G and Météorites — now feature “upcycled” denim made from jean off-cuts sourced from luxury houses’ workshops. Then, they are turned into beautiful materials through an ennobling process combining dyeing, embossing, embroidery and screen-printing inspired by the floral world so dear to Guerlain.
