Céline Dion, a resilient music icon
For the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the charismatic Céline Dion delivered a moving performance and reminded us just how sensational and unique her voice is. Diagnosed in 2022 with stiff-person syndrome, a rare disease causing spasms in the body and the voice, the singer had to drastically reduce her public appearances and was forced to cancel her world tour scheduled for 2023. Yet, her voice, humor, sense of style and personality remain as powerful as ever.
The major comeback of a unique voice
In 2025, the artist was everywhere. The Canadian singer, 58, received her star on Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto last September. And after an endless cycle of rumours, her musical comeback is now official. While celebrating the 30th anniversary of D’eux, the cult album produced by Jean-Jacques Goldman, Céline Dion may well be recording an entirely new album in French.
More surprising, yet just as exciting, the singer will lend her voice to the animated film High in the Clouds, an adaptation of a children’s book directed by Paul McCartney, scheduled for release in July 2027. She will join a prestigious cast, including Omar Sy, Pom Klementieff, Alain Chabat, in this project featuring original songs by the former Beatles member.

In the meantime, Céline Dion is embarking on another great adventure. She is the new face of Charlotte Tilbury’s Holiday campaign. The music icon appears both in sparkling, glamorous photographs reminiscent of the universe of Las Vegas and showgirls, and in a festive video. She is singing alongside British make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury and the brand’s muses Jourdan Dunn, Quenlin Blackwell, and Bella Tilbury.
Entitled Céline Dion is Star Confidence!, the short video echoes the vibrant notes of the artist’s 2002 hit I’m Alive. It also showcases Charlotte Tilbury’s glittering holiday makeup collection, along with the floral fragrance Star Confidence. On this occasion, the dazzling star, who sold 230 million records, opens up to Numéro about her relationship with beauty and this prestigious collaboration.

Numéro: What is your favorite holiday look?
Céline Dion: For the holidays, I love a bold, shimmering eye, and Charlotte’s Hollywood Instant Look in a Palette quickly became one of my favorites. Its versatile shades instantly brighten the face and add a touch of radiance. Fashion has always been a form of expression for me. I love dressing up with style, whether with a spectacular evening gown, like the Dsquared dress I wear in this campaign, or a chic, perfectly tailored suit. I always complete the look with a statement piece of jewellery and, of course, a fabulous pair of shoes that brings both glamour and fun to any celebration.

What are your daily beauty rituals?
My skincare routine is my favorite ritual. It helps me feel energized in the morning and relaxed at night. One of my favorite, must-have Charlotte Tilbury products is the Magic Cream. It creates a beautiful, luminous base for makeup. I also like to use it when I need rest and recovery, because it’s very moisturizing, smoothing, and plumping. Perfume is also an essential touch for me, and I’ve secretly been wearing Charlotte’s Star Confidence fragrance for months. Its warm floral notes give me confidence to start a new day.
What is the best way for you to spend the holidays?
For me, the holidays are above all about spending time with family. It’s warm, simple, and filled with love. We cook a big meal, exchange small gifts, go on our traditional ski trip, and simply enjoy being together. For me, the most precious gift is slowing down and creating memories together.
