The Armani Privé show remains true to the maestro’s legacy
On January 27th, inside the magnificent Palazzo Armani on rue François 1er in Paris, the inner circle of the Italian house Giorgio Armani gathered to discover an understated and elegant couture collection. A symbolic event, marking the first solo couture collection created by the designer’s niece, after his passing in September 2025.

A first Armani Privé show without the Italian designer
It is with a heavy heart that Silvana Armani, Giorgio Armani’s niece and right-hand woman for over forty years, stood alone on the catwalk of this third day of Paris Couture Week. This year’s edition was marked by many debuts, such as Dior or Chanel. Even though the great designer is no longer with us, his legacy is more alive than ever.
Titled “Jade“, as a reference to the stone known for its protective and calming virtues, this Spring/Summer 2026 collection exudes restraint and remarkable grace. A gradient of pastels unfolds, punctuated by black silhouettes, Giorgio Armani’s signature color. The only element outside the house’s codes was the almost total lack of accessories on the runway, especially the hats dear to the Italian designer.
As always at Armani, couture is anything but excessive or showy. Silvana Armani rises to the challenge with elegance, ushering in a smooth transition toward a future shaped by a demanding and prestigious heritage.

A couture collection shaped by ethereal silhouettes
Satin draping, bodices embroidered with transparent micro-crystals, silky capes… Bathed in fluid lines, straight cuts, and adorned with shimmering evening gowns, this Spring/Summer 2026 collection immerses us fully in Giorgio Armani’s universe.
The journey continues with a signature fusion of masculine and feminine wardrobes. Here, dandy-inspired looks are adorned with organza ties. The Armani woman remains the same — slender and composed. She embodies a discreet, refined elegance.
In keeping with the couture ritual established in the 1950s, the show closes on a nostalgic note with the presentation of a regal wedding gown. Unveiled for the first time, this piece is said to have been designed by Giorgio Armani himself. It stands as a powerful gesture, evoking the enduring and invisible presence of the great fashion designer.
