What surprises did the Coperni show have in store for us?
To appear just a few hours before Matthieu Blazy’s debut at Chanel was quite a challenge for Coperni’s cofounders and designers, Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer. Yet their new Spring/Summer 2026 collection, which seemed rather simple at first glance, turned out to be full of surprises.

An innovative Coperni Spring/Summer 2026 collection
In a room on the ground-floor of the Centre Pompidou on October 6th, the atmosphere was relaxed. Arranged in a circle, the guests at the Coperni show enjoyed a kind of collective light therapy, in a warm, soothing setting. Just what everyone needed at the end of an intense Fashion Week.
After having created a dress with a liquid sprayed directly on Bella Hadid‘s and inviting robots onto the runway of their Fall/Winter 2023-2024 show, Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant continue to merge technological innovation and fashion. Season after season, the Coperni designers keep pushing their own limits. Now, they have introduced a new audacious project, the C+ line.
Developed over several years in collaboration with the Swiss company HeiQ, this line sits at the crossroads between fashion and wellness. But how can a bodysuit or a pair of leggings awaken our skin’s microbiome? Like a second skin, their new stretch jersey doesn’t just cover the body, it interacts with it. As fascinating as it sounds, the fabric, activated by the heat and friction of the skin, transmits regenerative microorganisms to the epidermis, offering plenty of advantages. When science becomes fabric, technology becomes fashion.

Three standout accessories from the show
Pilates footwear
Developed in collaboration with Barreletics, an innovative brand specializing in Pilates and yoga footwear, Coperni’s new sandals are both appealing and challenging to pull off. Open, gripping and verging on the “ugly shoe” trend, they free the foot from all constraints, while offering optimal comfort and performance.

Belts designed to carry your iPhone
In addition to twisted belts in pleated fabric, other leather designs highlighted the models’ waists with elegance. Serving as holders for AirPods and iPhones, these accessories replace the traditional handbag. In line with Coperni’s ongoing quest for free movement, the belt matches the casual cuts and generous volumes of the collection… Including the high-slit trousers, sirwal pants and voluminous dresses.

The quartz Swipe bag
A Coperni show wouldn’t be complete without its signature accessory: the Swipe bag. After making waves with a version developed with NASA and composed of 99% pure air, and another encrusted with Swarovski crystals, the Spring/Summer 2026 Swipe comes in quartz, tiger eye, and tourmaline. A symbolic and protective fashion piece, infused with the power of gemstones.
