Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco sew a four-handed Emporio Armani collection

Hand in hand, Giorgio Armani’s heirs carry on the mastery of the late designer, who passed away six months ago. Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco present an inspired and complementary Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show, where the men’s and women’s wardrobes merge seamlessly.

Nearly six months have passed since the maestro’s passing, and his legacy is now carried forward by his former partner and collaborator Leo Dell’Orco, as well as by his niece, Silvana Armani. While the former unveiled his debut solo collection at the helm of the Italian house’s menswear line last January, the latter also took her first steps alone that same month, during Haute Couture Fashion Week.

For this new season, they present their first joint Emporio Armani show without the late couturier. This four-handed collection reveals a co-ed wardrobe in which women’s creations stand alongside men’s silhouettes. From the colours to the cuts, the garments complement one another to create a wardrobe that, across 108 silhouettes, reflects the signature Armani aesthetic – elegance, restraint and modernity.

A complementary, co-ed Emporio Armani collection

Emporio Armani is a style proposition in which the dialogue between masculine and feminine, the very foundation of the Armani aesthetic, reveals itself in the most spontaneous way, addressing a young audience and imagining what they might choose to wear, day after day,” the two designers write in their show note. The result is a collection whose beige, grey and black colour palette shapes a contemporary, gender-fluid wardrobe, where suits and trench coats are exchanged between female and male models. A rich and successful fashion dialogue.

Extending Giorgio Armani’s legacy, Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco brilliantly reinvent the maestro’s empire of black, greige and white tailoring. They also draw from his co-ed, avant-garde vision of fashion which, for over four decades, has revolutionised both men’s and women’s suits. It is an ode to his modern style, echoed by the accessories of Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection – long fur scarves draped over the shoulder, wool caps, elegant leather crossbody bags… In short, a unisex wardrobe that is as contemporary as it is rooted in the house’s rich heritage.
