  • The Living Room: French emerging artists on show at Reiffers Initiatives

The Living Room is designed as an encounter with the emerging contemporary scene. The exhibition displays a selection of emblematic pieces from the Reiffers Initiatives collection drawn from past exhibitions, as well as previously unseen works recently acquired. Since its creation by Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers in 2021, Reiffers Initiatives has supported the emerging art scene and championed cultural diversity. Its annual programme, which features a mentorship exhibition, a prize and the permanent exhibition of artworks from its collection, has contributed to the rise of a unique generation of great artists.

Since its creation in 2021, Reiffers Initiatives has supported emerging artistic creation and cultural diversity. Our programme — 10 exhibitions and 45 artists — has contributed to the rise of a unique new generation of artists and offers visibility to emerging figures of the future contemporary art. The Living Room is an encounter with the young French contemporary scene and fully reflects this approach. The second exhibition, drawn from the Reiffers Initiatives collection, brings together emblematic artworks and newly acquired pieces,Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, founder of Mazarine Group and Reiffers Initiatives, explains.

“The Living Room invites visitors to discover artworks in the spirit of a private collector’s lounge. Viewers are encouraged to take a seat, sit or lie down, and to fully immerse themselves in the multiple realities that coexist, regardless of a world that tends to divide those same realities. Inside this lively space, as the title suggests, singular visions can coexist. They highlight the richness of perspectives embodied by this new generation of contemporary artists,” Thibaut Wychowanok, artistic director of Reiffers Initiatives, adds.

“The Living Room,” exhibition open until April 4th, 2026, at Reiffers Initiatives, 30 rue des Acacias, Paris, 17th arrondissement.
