The opening of the Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg exhibition at Reiffers Initiatives

On Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd of October 2025, Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, founder and president of Reiffers Initiatives and Mazarine Group, inaugurated the exhibition of the fifth edition of the Reiffers Initiatives mentorship. Coinciding with the program of Art Basel Paris, the private dinner and opening held at the Reiffers Initiatives art center celebrated the encounter of two artists: Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg.

  • Reiffers Initiatives unveils the exhibition of the fifth mentorship

    Taking advantage of the buzz around Art Basel Paris, Reiffers Initiatives, a philanthropic endowment fund supporting emerging contemporary art and cultural diversity founded by Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, unveiled the exhibition of its fifth mentorship program.

    Mentor for the 2025 edition, the renowned French artist Daniel Buren took over the Reiffers Initiatives building with two in situ works – La Façade aux acacias, covering the façade, and Nouvelles images du Ciel. Next to him, Miles Greenberg presents Gods of Solaris, three monumental cast aluminum sculptures accompanied by a brand-new performance piece.

    An exclusive dinner with Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg

    Amidst the artworks of the exhibition, the dinner held on Wednesday, October 22nd brought together leading figures from the worlds of art, culture, fashion, and luxury around Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg. This intimate gathering in honor of the two mentorship artists celebrated the richness of the emerging art scene and contemporary creation. Among the guests showing their support for young contemporary artists were prominent figures from the art and cultural worlds.

    For instance, actresses Isabelle Adjani and Mélanie Laurent, the editor-in-chief of Numéro magazine, Babeth Djian, singer Lucky Love, photographer Rafael Pavarotti, perfumer Francis Kurkdjian (Dior and Maison Francis Kurkdjian), and model-photographer Anne-Catherine Lacroix. Also attending the event were curators Olivia Anani (curator of Miles Greenberg’s exhibition Gods of Solaris), Caroline Bourgeois and Matthieu Humery, both from the Pinault Collection, étoile dancer Hugo Marchand, and choreographer Benjamin Millepied. The evening also welcomed executives from major luxury houses including Nathalie Raynaud (Balenciaga), Damien Bertrand (Louis Vuitton), François Pinault Jr. (Christie’s), and Benjamin Comar (Piaget).

    A breathtaking live performance by Yseult

    The opening held on Thursday, October 23rd, was marked by a unique performance by Miles Greenberg on the ground floor of the foundation. Performed by Yseult, the piece unfolded for four hours in the heart of the exhibition “Gods of Solaris”.

    Over 1,500 people gathered on rue des Acacias to discover the installations by Daniel Buren and Miles Greenberg. Attendees included major figures from the art and cultural scenes, such as artists Sophie Calle, Jean-Michel Othoniel and Enki Bilal. But also gallerists Almine Rech (Almine Rech) and Lorenzo Fiaschi (Galerie Continua), pastry chef and chocolatier Pierre Hermé, as well as Christophe Leribault, president of the Public Establishment of the Palace of Versailles. Several CEOs were also present, including Laurent Dumas (Emerige), Frédéric Jousset (Webhelp/Art Explora), and Edouard Carmignac (Carmignac Gestion).
