The best fashion collaborations of 2026

Now a fixture in the fashion industry, collaborations continue to generate excitement, especially when they manage to surprise us. 2026 has just begun, and several capsule collections have already caught our attention.

Le Vieux Campeur x JR: a wardrobe suited to explore Paris differently

A few days after turning the Pont-Neuf into a gigantic temporary cave in the heart of Paris, artist JR continues his exploration of the French capital with a collaboration conceived with Le Vieux Campeur. An unexpected meeting between the world of the renowned photographer and the iconic Parisian outdoor retailer, brought together by a shared desire to reinvent urban exploration.

Inspired by the monumental installation La Caverne du Pont-Neuf, the collection creates the ideal wardrobe for any city explorer. T-shirts, sweatshirts, K-Ways, caps and bandanas make up a capsule designed for discovering the city from a fresh perspective. A camera, postcards and badges extend the experience. Somewhere between outdoor gear and artist merchandise, this collaboration ultimately celebrates a certain idea of Parisian curiosity.

Le Vieux Campeur x JR collaboration is available at Merci Paris, 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais, Paris 3rd arrondissement, and on merci-merci.com.

The height of chic with Manolo Blahnik and Balenciaga

Ever since Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed creative director of Balenciaga in 2025, the house seems to have taken a radically different turn from the aesthetic cultivated under Demna’s tenure. Gone are the imposing Alaska boots and other exaggerated proportions, replaced instead by couture cocktail shoes.

This new collaboration with the luxurious house of Manolo Blahnik is proof of that shift. The project feels almost sentimental, or at the very least utterly natural. “This collaboration came to life for very personal reasons. I know Manolo personally and have admired him for a long time. To me, Manolo Blahnik is synonymous with elegance and, as he is Spanish, like Cristóbal Balenciaga, there’s a certain shared sensibility there,” the Italian designer explained.

After carefully selecting several styles drawn from archival Manolo Blahnik designs, Pierpaolo Piccioli designed heeled mules and slingbacks combining silk-satin with wavy hand-embroidered crystal leaf ornaments. Shoes showcase craftsmanship, offering the silhouette a natural arch and incomparable elegance.

Gabriela Hearst and Paul Smith orchestrate an ode to shared values

What could possibly unite American designer Gabriela Hearst and British label Paul Smith? The unconditional love of tailoring, of course, but also a shared attachment to craftsmanship and growing desire for more responsible fashion.

But that’s not all. Throughout this collaboration of around twenty pieces for both men and women, we discover photographs taken by Paul Smith’s father in the 1950s and 1960s, capturing nature in its purest form. A clear nod to the strong environmental commitment of the two brands.

These images coat the capsule collaction and emerge on garments and accessories alike. One can spot them on Gabriela Hearst’s signature Nina and Demi bags. Among the standout pieces are a resolutely on-trend silk slip dress and two suits that meticulously reinterpret the art of tailoring in a playful, slightly abstract and mischievous spirit.

The Gabriela Hearst x Paul Smith collaboration is available in stores and on gabrielahearst.com.

Marine Serre teams up with the world’s most famous museum

Following her latest Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection, Marine Serre is now orchestrating a collaboration with the Louvre Museum. Nothing less… Last March, the French designer left us speechless with her haute couture dress named “Joconde,” whose construction required over 420 hours of work and resembled a jigsaw puzzle at first glance. Today, we discover three limited edition pieces, once again inspired by the iconic Mona Lisa.

Whether printed on a T-shirt or suspended as a medallion from a keychain, the Mona Lisa aligns with Marine Serre’s vision. She pairs the iconic figure with the brand’s signature crescent moon or iconic All-Over Moon print. With a playful touch, Marine Serre plays with the codes of art and fashion. Blurring the lines, she both transforms the garment into a work of art and the canvas into an ultra-fashionable pastiche. Driven by an unwavering commitment to upcycling fashion, the designer offers a playful interpretation of one of the most famous masterpieces in art history.

The Marine Serre x Le Louvre collaboration is available at boutique.louvre.fr and marineserre.com.

Arket x Laila Gohar, or the art of casual, chic fashion

Pastel shirts, a ruffled dress, a high-cut swimsuit, satin mules, hand-embroidered crochet accessories… For its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Arket has teamed up with Laila Gohar to create a capsule collection of 27 refined, elegant summer pieces. But who is Laila Gohar? Born in Cairo and based in New York, this artist and culinary designer is internationally renowned for her breathtaking installations. She collaborated with major fashion houses, from Prada to Comme des Garçons, Hermès, Simone Rocha and Nike.

Here, the tone shifts. “This collaboration was about imagining pieces that feel structured and sophisticated, yet remain intuitive and easy to wear. I don’t really differentiate between everyday clothing and special occasion clothing. Every day is a special day. I wear what I want when I want. I don’t believe in saving things for an occasion – I cook in my nicest clothes, I host in them, I live in them,” Laila Gohar shares.

In short, the Arket x Laila Gohar collaboration captivates us with its playfulness and casualness, while once again underlining the importance of craftsmanship in the artist’s practice.

Guess Jeans x Hysteric Glamour, or rock attitude at its peak

For Spring/Summer 2026, two major names in denim join forces in a punk, unrestrained collaboration. This first one is Californian, the other Japanese. Between a run-down motel room and deserted streets of Los Angeles, Guess Jeans and Hysteric Glamour stage a rebellious campaign. The visuals feel like a dive into the cinematic world of the Coen brothers.

For Guess, this partnership felt like an obvious choice, given the brand’s link with the spirit of Hysteric Glamour, founded in 1984 by Nobuhiko Kitamura. The Japanese label has a disruptive aura and is known for its numerous collaborations, from the rock band Sonic Youth to the Andy Warhol Foundation and Supreme.

The standout pieces of this capsule? Ultra-tight cropped T-shirts, a denim vest marking the comeback of star prints flirting with kitsch, and multiple micro shorts suited for the summer heat. In short, this collection breathes a fierce sense of freedom and youthful energy into the fashion sphere. A value dear to Nobuhiko Kitamura, who says: “I hope the next generation will enjoy making these pieces their own.”

Gabriela Hearst and Adam Pendleton pay tribute to Nina Simone

The Nina bag, an iconic Gabriela Hearst design, is now being revamped with emotion. Alongside multidisciplinary artist Adam Pendleton, the American designer, known for her commitment and her love of art, has created a series of 25 unique pieces, each signed and numbered. Hand-painted on satin, sometimes preserving the artist’s brushstrokes, these black-and-white bags blur the boundaries between luxury, design and fashion.

Why choose this particular design? Named as a tribute to legendary singer and pianist, feminist activist and civil rights advocate Nina Simone, the Nina bag remains a way of keeping alive the spirit of this “eternal muse” according to Gabriela Hearst. After three years of dedicated work, the duo is finally unveiling these precious accessories at Sotheby’s in New York. More importantly, the proceeds from the sale will be donated to Nina Simone’s childhood home in Tryon, North Carolina, in order to help transforming it into a cultural center.

The Gabriela Hearst x Adam Pendleton collaboration is available on sothebys.com until April 26th, 2026.

Willy Chavarria brings his DNA to Zara

Just weeks after announcing its collaboration with renowned couturier John Galliano, the Spanish fashion giant is now inviting American designer Willy Chavarria to unveil his singular universe within a new, accessible Zara wardrobe. Titled VATÍSIMO, the collection draws on Chicano culture and celebrates its bonds and pride to shape an intimate and political capsule. True to the designer’s signature aesthetic, now familiar on Paris runways, it stands out for its assertive silhouettes where Italian fabrics, leather, denim and knitwear intersect.

Through structured skirts, denim jackets, oversized suits and leather accessories, a balance emerges between workwear and formal elegance. Some details, like the signature red roses, punctuate the collection. Far from a mere stylistic exercise, this collaboration sketches a nuanced portrait of Willy Chavarria’s cultural identity and encompasses it in all its complexity and modernity.

Captured in a vibrant campaign fronted by Christy Turlington and Cuban actor Alberto Guerra, the Zara x Willy Chavarria collaboration ultimately offers a radical vision of fashion as a true space for expression…

Wrangler x Avirex, or when cowboy style meets streetwear

To enter a rather cold spring smoothly, Wrangler and Avirex brought together two strands of American sartorial history. Signature sturdy workwear pieces, shaped by decades of denim craftsmanship at Wrangler, meet Avirex’s aeronautical imagery, which has gradually become a staple of streetwear and, by extension, of hip-hop culture.

Through a tightly curated selection of denim jackets and reworked bombers, the two brands reinterpret their emblematic pieces at the crossroads of a functional and urban wardrobe. In essence, this Wrangler x Avirex collaboration offers a contemporary reading of American heritage, echoing the resurgence of the cowboy aesthetic, which has recently taken over the streets and runways alike…

The Wrangler x Avirex collaboration is available on eu.wrangler.com.

JW Anderson x Guinness: A collaboration celebrating a shared heritage

This season, the second collaboration between JW Anderson and Guinness starts with a bang. After a first noticeable outing in 2024, Jonathan Anderson now opens a new chapter with a broader scope and more substance. “I’ve always been fascinated by the graphic language of Guinness. It’s so immediate, so culturally loaded, yet incredibly refined. For me, this collaboration felt like an opportunity to take that heritage and recontextualise it through the craft-led lens that defines JW Anderson today,” the designer explains.

Regarding the wardrobe, the collection features 17 pieces, including denim overalls, jeans, chunky knits, an embroidered zip-up jacket and a washed shirt, all stamped with the famous Celtic harp, Guinness’s legendary emblem. To embody the meeting of popular tradition and fashion, pub culture and luxury, the campaign calls on two major British figures: Joe Alwyn, recently seen in Chloé Zhao’s film Hamnet (2026), and Nigerian-born rapper Little Simz, whose work blends jazz and neo-soul, political consciousness and lyricism. Pure genius.

The JW Anderson x Guinness collaboration is available in a very limited edition in JW Anderson stores and on jwanderson.com.

MM6 Maison Margiela x Supreme design audacious streetwear

Two years after their first encounter, MM6 Maison Margiela x Supreme are back with a bang with a Spring/Summer 2026 collection that is more straightforward, yet also more eccentric. This intention for this capsule goes a little further than their last fashion collision. While the previous collection already played on the clash of styles, this one heightens the contrasts. Here, streetwear codes intersect with, and are confronted by, the nonconformist universe of MM6 Maison Margiela. Among our favourite pieces are oversized joggers and hoodies, washed and distressed denim jackets. Standout items include a leather biker jacket adorned with a hyperrealistic eagle and shearling bombers, sometimes covered in a river of US dollar bills.

The MM6 Maison Margiela x Supreme collaboration will soon be available on maisonmargiela.com and supreme.com.

Merci x Au Vieux Campeur: A new vision of the great outdoors

For the very first time, French outdoor specialist Au Vieux Campeur is launching its own collection of clothing and accessories. An original project conceived in collaboration with Parisian concept store Merci. Named Au Vieux Campeur Congés Payés and led by Arthur Gerbi (Merci) and Aymeric de Rorthays (Au Vieux Campeur), this new label brings together the expertise of two institutions around a shared idea: taking a break from urban frenzy without leaving Paris.

Inspired by the heritage of the cult boutique on Rue des Écoles, the collection outlines an urban wardrobe with outdoor accents. It features workwear-inspired jackets, as well as practical, utilitarian accessories designed for getaway weekends, like water bottles, tote bags, and carryalls. Ultimately, the collaboration encapsulates a distinctly Parisian desire to keep a breath of fresh air, even in the heart of the city.

The Vieux Campeur Congés Payés collection is available at Merci, 111 boulevard Beaumarchais, Paris, 3rd arrondissement.

Sacai x Carhartt WIP revamp workwear once more

Unveiled as part of the Sacai Spring/Summer 2026 collection, the fourth collaboration with Carhartt WIP unveils a hybrid wardrobe in which the identities of both brands echo and complement each other perfectly. Underlined by subtle contrasting top stitching and corduroy collars, the nine pieces of this capsule stand as timeless essentials. Our favourite piece? An oversized bomber that revamps the American brand’s iconic Detroit Jacket through the avant-garde vision of Sacai founder Chitose Abe.

The Sacai x Carhartt WIP collaboration is available in Sacai and Carhartt WIP stores, on sacai.jp and on carhartt-wip.com.

Adidas x Bape, or when streetwear gets inspired by soccer (once again)

For the upcoming 2026 World Cup, set to take place in the United States, Mexico and Canada next June, Japanese label Bape is getting ahead of the game. Nigo’s label teams up with Adidas for a capsule in line with the blokecore aesthetic. At the heart of the collection, two jerseys particularly catch our eye. First, a long-sleeved T-shirt featuring a denim print. Then, a reworking of a 1990s Japan national team jersey, enhanced with flames on the sleeves and a “Bape 93” print on the back — a detail that echoes soccer jerseys. As for sneakers, three designs round out this hybrid collection: the Hrmy, the Samba and the Campus 00’s. A wardrobe conceived for both the World Cup matches and navigating the city streets all year long.

The Adidas x Bape collection is available on the Adidas Confirmed app and on bape.com.
