Eusexua by FKA twigs
One of the most anticipated albums of 2025, Eusexua sees FKA twigs draw inspiration from Prague’s rave scene, in between takes for the film The Crow. After two critically acclaimed albums, particularly the excellent Magdalene (2019), the British artist delves into the techno basslines of Czech clubs to shape her latest release.
Driven by the eponymous single co-produced with Eartheater, this high-paced album blends electronic music and pop. Accompanied by several music videos, FKA twigs once again showcases her exceptional dance talent. Could Eusexua be the rightful successor to Charli XCX’s Brat?

Mayhem, Lady Gaga’s flamboyant new disco album
After last year’s Harley Quinn-inspired album, Lady Gaga returned in March 2025 with a brand-new release titled Mayhem. While in Paris for the Olympic Games’ opening ceremony, she shared two previews of the album with fans outside her hotel.
Some suspected Gesaffelstein’s touch, and they were right. The eclectic and eccentric record spans pop, disco, funk, electro, and rock, and has already delivered two spectacular performances at Coachella. We eagerly await her French tour dates.

Hurry Up Tomorrow by The Weeknd, one of the best albums of 2025
Earlier this year, The Weeknd teased his new album with a YouTube video titled Unprepared Certainty. The teaser featured a frightened child entering a haunted house, then being comforted by his mother—backed by synth-heavy, melancholic music reminiscent of The Weeknd’s previous works.
Released in January 2025, Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final part of a trilogy that began with After Hours (2020) and continued with Dawn FM (2022). It features stunning singles like “Dancing in the Flames” and “São Paulo”.
The artist is also preparing a psychological thriller film to accompany the album, starring Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. The film is set for theatrical release on May 16, 2025.

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Bad Bunny’s latest triumph
Since its release in January, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS has been universally praised. Fusing diverse musical influences, the album appeals to both Latin music lovers and newcomers, and it gets the whole world dancing.
From the plena in “CAFé CON RON” to the intoxicating salsa of “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and the reggaeton of “VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR…”, Bad Bunny showcases his versatility. Honoring his Puerto Rican roots, the 17 tracks draw from the melodies of his childhood, blending traditional and modern styles with great success.
Don’t miss his powerful performance of the album on his Tiny Desk Concert.

Selena Gomez makes a comeback with I Said I Love You First
After enchanting fans with Rare in 2020 and taking a break due to health issues, Selena Gomez returns with I Said I Love You First. Teased for a month on Instagram and co-produced with her fiancé Benny Blanco, the album is more mature and melancholic than her previous efforts.
While the first listen may not overwhelm, repeated plays reveal its quality, bolstered by collaborations with The Marias and Gracie Abrams, and the bold musical risks Gomez takes. From the electro beat of “Bluest Fame” to the dreamy “Ojos Tristes” and the sensual “Cowboy”, the album paints the picture of a new, confident Selena. The introspective lyrics and ballads evoke the spirit of Lana Del Rey.

Tate McRae’s ultra-pop and danceable So Close To That
A callback to pop’s golden age, Tate McRae’s third album, So Close To That, is a gem for Gen Z and nostalgic fans of Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, and Christina Aguilera. Released in February, the album builds on the momentum of Think Later (2023), offering around fifteen danceable, hook-laden tracks.
From the subversive lyrics of “Purple Lace Bra” and “Sportscar” to more mature explorations of heartbreak, McRae crafts a pop universe both sexy and emotional. Her music makes us want to strut through New York streets with confidence, much like in the “It’s ok I’m ok” video. Propelled by the Y2K revival, this album is a clear success. And we can’t wait to hear it live at her Bercy concert on May 27.
