Rising pop star Addison Rae releases her debut album
It’s one of the most impressive career shifts in recent years… Close to Charli xcx, American star Addison Rae was first discovered on TikTok. She is now establishing herself as one of pop’s most exciting rising talents with her new album, Addison. Released on June 6th, 2025, it features a string of addictive, danceable hits, from High Fashion to Aquamarine. The cherry on top? Addison Rae also delivers a bold, edgy, and sexy visual universe, drawing her inspiration from the 2000s, Madonna, Björk, and Britney Spears. And we can’t wait for 2026, since the singer might drop a new record…

Man’s Best Friend, Sabrina Carpenter’s new daring album
A year after the release of her debut album, Short n’ Sweet (2024), Sabrina Carpenter finally shelved her Disney princess image for good. The Polly Pocket-like babydoll offered a series of pop tracks with sharp lyrics, delivered with a blend of playfulness and sensuality as always. The latest release of the Grammy recipient artist was highly-anticipated.

The albums Eusexua by FKA twigs
One of the most anticipated albums of 2025, Eusexua sees FKA twigs draw inspiration from Prague’s rave scene, in between takes for the film The Crow. The artist’s mesmerizing universe draws on the techno basslines of Czech clubs to craft a new album for 2025, titled Eusexua.
Driven by the eponymous single co-produced with Eartheater, this high-paced album blends electronic music and pop. Accompanied by several music videos, FKA twigs once again showcases her exceptional dance talent. Could Eusexua be the rightful successor to Charli xcx’s Brat?

Essex Honey, Blood Orange’s new record
Seven years after the release of his last studio album, the great Devonté Hynes, also known as Blood Orange, has finally returned with a new record. His brillant fifth album, Essex Honey, came out on August 29th and includes the first two singles previously unveiled by the artist. On these experimental and melancholic tracks, we can hear the voices of Caroline Polachek, Lorde, and The Durutti Column. Daniel Caesar, Mustafa the Poet, Brendan Yates from Turnstile, Naomi Scott, Amandla Stenberg, and Zadie Smith also appear in the album’s credits. Blood Orange has clearly thought big all the stops for his comeback on stage.

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Bad Bunny’s latest triumph
Since its release in January, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS has been universally praised. Fusing diverse musical influences, the album appeals to both Latin music lovers and newcomers, and it gets the whole world dancing.
From plena in CAFé CON RON to the intoxicating salsa in BAILE INoLVIDABLE and the reggaeton in VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR, Bad Bunny showcases his versatility through his latest opus. The 17 tracks are a tribute to his Puerto Rican roots and draw their inspiration in part from melodies that marked his childhood. The artist proves capable of drawing from age-old traditions to craft ultra-modern, highly popular songs. To extend the experience, you can go and listen to his Tiny Desk Concert performance. With a small group of musicians, he delivered a masterful live rendition of his album.

Sincerely, Kali Uchis’s fifth opus
On her social media, R’n’B singer Kali Uchis posted a video in March 2025 to announce the release of her fifth album Sincerely, sung in English. Preceded by the stunning single Sunshine & Rain, the album unveils some lovely surprises. For instance, deeply personal lyrics about love and motherhood. Although this intimate record is, according to many fans, a step below her previous release, Orquídeas. Besides, Kali Uchis also left her mark on 2025 with her featuring with Aya Nakamura on the French singer’s latest album, Destinée.

Hurry Up Tomorrow by The Weeknd, one of the best albums of 2025
Earlier this year, The Weeknd teased his new album with a YouTube video titled Unprepared Certainty. The teaser featured a frightened child entering a haunted house, then being comforted by his mother—backed by synth-heavy, melancholic music reminiscent of The Weeknd’s previous works.
Released in January 2025, Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final part of a trilogy that began with After Hours (2020) and continued with Dawn FM (2022). It features stunning singles like “Dancing in the Flames” and “São Paulo”. Last May, the producer finally launched a film to coincide with the album’s release. Starring in the cast? Actress Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.

A new record by indie pop prodigy Lorde
Lorde’s arrival in the music industry was a much-needed breath of fresh air for the indie pop scene. When she released her debut album Pure Heroine in 2013 at just 17, she immediately established herself as one of the most promising artists in the genre. Dark and even exhilarating at times, the melodies crafted by the New Zealand singer marked the emergence of a distinctly Gen Z sound in the music world. Just look at Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, or Gracie Abrams – artists of the same generation who all cite Lorde as a key influence.
After the brilliant Melodrama (2017), Lorde returned to the spotlight with Solar Power in 2022. A more mellow record than her previous ones, yet it didn’t quite achieve the same level of success. This year, the singer is back with a more electro-pop album titled Virgin, with the track What Was That following in the vibrant, offbeat footsteps of Charli xcx’s iconic Brat. Are we on the brink of a “Lorde Summer 2025”?

I Quit, Haim’s fourth opus
We last heard from the Haim sisters with their third album Women in Music Pt. III, which was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Since then, the trio have each embarked on various artistic ventures. Este, the eldest, worked as a music consultant on season 2 of The White Lotus. Danielle, the middle sister, recently featured on a track from Bon Iver’s latest album.
On retrouvait récemment Danielle, la cadette, sur un titre du dernier album de Bon Iver.
As for Alana, the youngest, she’s made her mark in cinema. First in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza and soon in The Mastermind by Kelly Reichardt, which was in official competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
Amidst all these exciting projects, the Haim sisters aren’t done with the music industry. They have just released their fourth album, playfully titled I Quit. A sun-drenched record, which fully expresses their signature blend of pop, rock, and R’n’B.
I Quit (2025) by Haim, available now.
Vie, rapper Doja Cat’s new project
After the very bubblegum Amara (2018), Doja Cat made a complete 360 with Scarlet, a darker work. And she still has surprises in store for us. For her new album, she chose a French word for the title, Vie. The project stands out with fresh visuals – glamorous, vintage, and elegant, and is heavily inspired by Grace Jones and the eighties. Musically-speaking, this new era also ventures into the worlds of Janet Jackson and Prince, with tracks like Jealous Type.

Mayhem, Lady Gaga’s flamboyant new disco album
After last year’s Harley Quinn-inspired album, Lady Gaga returned in March 2025 with a brand-new release titled Mayhem. While in Paris for the Olympic Games’ opening ceremony, she shared two previews of the album with fans outside her hotel.
Some suspected Gesaffelstein’s touch, and they were right. The eclectic, eccentric record spans pop, disco, funk, electro, and rock. The producer has already delivered two spectacular performances at Coachella and we are eagerly waiting for the French tour.

Deadbeat, Tame Impala’s new studio album
Five years after their opus The Slow Rush, the acclaimed Australian band Tame Impala released their new album Deadbeat on October 17th, 2025. The record had been teased with a string of promising singles, including Dracula and Loser. It features some stunning electronic tracks, such as My Old Ways. Another good news is that the band led by Kevin Parker – who recently collaborated with Dua Lipa and Justice – will be performing twice in France in 2026, first in Lyon on April 10th, then in Paris on May 3rd.

Rapper Cardi B makes a big comeback
After the hugely successful Invasion of Privacy in 2018, rapper Cardi B is finally back with a second album. Titled Am I The Drama? and released on September 19th, 2025, the record has lived up to all our expectations. From its strikingly gothic cover – showing the star dressed head to toe in red, surrounded by crows – to the over-the-top promo campaign and numerous features with Summer Walker and Selena Gomez, the artist crafted a stunning record.

Selena Gomez makes a comeback with I Said I Love You First
After enchanting fans with Rare in 2020 and taking a break due to health issues, Selena Gomez returns with I Said I Love You First. Teased for a month on Instagram and co-produced with her fiancé Benny Blanco, the album is more mature and melancholic than her previous efforts.
While the first listen may not overwhelm, repeated plays reveal its quality, bolstered by collaborations with The Marias and Gracie Abrams, and the bold musical risks Gomez takes. From the electro beat of “Bluest Fame” to the dreamy “Ojos Tristes” and the sensual “Cowboy”, the album paints the picture of a new, confident Selena. The introspective lyrics and ballads evoke the spirit of Lana Del Rey.

Tate McRae’s ultra-pop and danceable So Close To That
A callback to the golden age of pop music, Tate McRae’s third album, So Close To That, is a gem for Gen Z and nostalgic fans of Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, and Christina Aguilera. Released last February, the album builds on the momentum of Think Later (2023) and offers around fifteen danceable hits with hooky choruses.
From the subversive lyrics of Purple Lace Bra and Sportscar to more mature explorations of heartbreak, the American singer crafts a sexy and emotional pop universe. Her music makes us want to strut through the streets of New York with confidence. Just like in the video for It’s ok I’m ok. Propelled by the Y2K revival, her album is a resounding success.

PinkPantheress’s new mixtape
With her most recent album Heaven Knows (2023), PinkPantheress seemed ready to spread her wings. A shift away from the catchy melodies that first made her popular on TikTok at the start of her career. Let’s face it, her rise was meteoric for a 23-year-old artist. She made her debuts posting short tracks on SoundCloud before going viral on the young generation’s favorite social network.
Named Producer of the Year by Billboard in 2024, she has worked with some of the hottest names in music. Her collaborations includes rappers Ice Spice and Central Cee, British house sensation Shygirl, and the K-pop group Le Sserafim. In her mixtape Fancy That, released in May 2025, PinkPantheress proves she is far more than a fleeting TikTok phenomenon.

The Last Dinner Party is back with The Pyre
Grandiose and ultra stylish, the musicians and singers of the London-based band The Last Dinner Party have everything it takes to win people over. The five artists first caught the public eye opening for Nick Cave, Florence + the Machine and the Rolling Stones. After that, they released Nothing matters, a debut single standing out for its lyricism and overtly sexual lyrics. With a sound that brings to mind ABBA, Kate Bush and Warpaint, they will for sure create some buzz in the upcoming months. In February 2024, they dropped their first album, Prelude to Ecstasy, produced by none other than the legendary James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz). This month, they’re already back with a new release, the brillant The Pyre.

Something Beautiful by Miley Cyrus
It was one of the most eagerly-awaited albums of 2025. Following the resounding success of her ultra-pop album Endless Summer Vacation (2023), Miley Cyrus released a new record last May. Titled Something Beautiful, its cover features a very glamorous Miley dressed in vintage couture Thierry Mugler.
The highly visual album draws its inspiration from both Panos Cosmatos’ horror film Mandy (2019) and Pink Floyd’s legendary album The Wall (1979). While it may not be the singer’s best work, it stands as a ground for experimentation, allowing the star to fully embrace her rock and diva sides.

Mega BBL by Theodora
Nothing can stop Lili Théodora Mbangayo, aka Theodora. The 21-year-old French-Congolese singer and rapper is blowing up with her hit Kongolese sous BBL and her unapologetic attitude. She also sold out several Zénith in Paris. And we can’t get enough of the new editions of her Bad Boy Lovestory project, now titled Mega BBL. It features twelve new tracks by the Boss Lady and surprising, eclectic collaborations with Juliette Armanet and BB Trickz.

Don’t Tap the Glass, Tyler, The Creator’s new album
In his ninth studio album, Don’t Tap the Glass, rapper Tyler, The Creator blends hip-hop, dance, house, funk, and techno for an effective result. Yet, his latest record doesn’t quite reach the heights of his previous works. Released in July 2025, the record features collaborations with Pharrell Williams and is less conceptual than his previous album. The joyful and playful tracks seem at first designed to drag us to the dance floor. A short, breezy opus, perfect for summer days (and nights).
