Jay-Z collaborates with Kid Cudi on explosive trailer for Netflix western

We expect a lot from the Tarantinesque western The Harder They Fall , co-produced by Jay-Z for Netflix and whose incendiary trailer reveals a duet between the star rapper and Kid Cudi.

Not only is The Harder They Fall, a highly anticipated Netflix neo-western, co-produced by Jay-Z, but the rapper has also recorded an explosive track for his soundtrack. It is a successful duet between the artist and Kid Cudi that is revealed in the explosive trailer of the film. The pop and very feminine western reminiscent of some Tarantino films is directed by Jeymes Samuel (who has already worked with Jay-Z on a music video) and stars Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country, Loki) as an outlaw seeking revenge on his enemy played by Idris Elba. The rest of the cast is just as promising with the presence of Zazie Beetz, LaKeith Stanfield and Regina King on the bill.

Jay-Z and Kid Cudi had previously collaborated on the track “Already Home” on the album The Blueprint 3 (2009) by Shawn Corey Carter (the real name of Beyoncé’s husband). They were also both present on Kanye West and Drake’s latest albums, Donda and Certified Lover Boy, two of the best rap records of the year. To hear their new duo in full, we’ll have to wait until November 3, when The Harder They Fall airs on Netflix.
