  • The 2026 Golden Globes ceremony is taking shape

While the Academy Awards are scheduled for March 16th, another major event in American cinema is kicking things off. The 83rd edition of the Golden Globes will take place overnight on January 10th and 11th, 2026, at the legendary Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. A star-studded audience is already expected to compete in glamour.

And this edition is already shaping up to be a promising one. Comedian Nikki Glaser returns as host of the ceremony for the second year in a row, while a new category joins the lineup of iconic awards. In addition to the traditional prizes, like “Best Motion Picture – Drama” or “Best Screenplay,” the Academy will now honour the Best Podcast. A clear sign of its intent to recognize new emerging narrative formats.
