On Saturday 1st of November 2025, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) brought together the global elite of art, film, and fashion once again for the 14th edition of its prestigious gala. The evening was co-chaired by patron Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who honoured two major figures in contemporary creation.
After celebrating American artist Simone Leigh and director Baz Luhrmann in 2024, the 2025 edition put the visionary work of artist Mary Corse and the career of filmmaker Ryan Coogler in the spotlight.
Among the guests was designer Demna, appointed creative director at Gucci last March. Indeed, the fashion house is a partner of the event. The dinner was curated by David Shim, chef of COTE, a Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse in New York. And to top it all off, Doja Cat closed the evening with a memorable and exceptionally intimate concert.
This year, a wave of stars dressed in Gucci’s creations answered the call. From the film industry, Demi Moore, Damson Idris, and Elle Fanning were in attendance. The latter spotted in a stunning sky-blue ensemble, while Salma Hayek paired her mermaid gown with a huge Boucheron ring. Lorde opted for a dress with a satin hem, and the divine Alex Consani chose a completely sheer gown. Photographed in a black lace dress, Paris Hilton struck the pose alongside the iconic photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh and Nadia LeeCohen, who wore a snakeskin dress with black sunglasses.
