Belted coats
Following in the footsteps of the Gucci Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show, Acne Studios is betting on a faux fur coat enhanced by a game-changing detail – a belt. Far from trivial, this accessory brings structure to the silhouette and adds a refined finishing touch. The style can also be found at Coperni. The wide-collared coat is cinched with a shimmering silver-buckled belt in the shape of the Parisian brand’s logo.
Animal print faux fur coats
This year, animal print is once again making a bold statement with faux fur coats. Claudie Pierlot opts for a more understated approach with a leopard-print jacket trimmed in black leather. As for Jacquemus, the brand goes for a sultrier take with a high-neck bomber. A piece that may seem extravagant, even whimsical to some, but one that fully embraces the unmissable “mob wife” trend.
The faux fur jacket
As promised by Alessandro Michele during his second runway show for Valentino presented in March 2025, the faux fur jacket is more relevant today than ever. In an ivory shawl-collar version at COS, a classic cut from the Frame x Amelia Gray collaboration, a Zadig&Voltaire design draped in curled fake fur… One thing is clear, the faux fur jacket is the perfect blend of sophistication and comfort.
The long coat
Among the long faux fur coats of Fall/Winter 2025-2026, two models stole the show. The first one is a black-and-white Cruella-style coat by the American brand Entire Studios. The second one is a minimalist mink-effect piece by H&M. Offering an elongated silhouette, the long faux fur coat perfectly captures the charm of long winter days.
