Dior couture collection filmed by Matteo Garrone

Directed by the Italian filmmaker Matteo Garrone, who made “Pinocchio” (2019), “Dogman” (2018) and “Gomorra” (2008), the Dior fall-winter 2020-2021 couture collection draws inspiration from the powerful women who have gone beyond the status of muses to reach the one of revolutionary artists. Amongst those who changed the female gaze in art, one can noticed Dora Maar (Pablo Picasso’s muse and mistress), Lee Miller (war photographer and Man Ray’s partner) or Jacqueline Lamba (painter and André Breton’s wife).
