Heated Rivalry star steals the show at Dsquared2
Canadian actor Hudson Williams, breakout star of the steamy series Heated Rivalry, caused a sensation by opening the Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show, held on Friday, January 16th in Milan. A standout appearance that once again showcases the Canadian brand’s talent for merging fashion and pop culture.

Hudson Williams, star of the Dsquared2 show
Nowadays, everybody knows that the Dsquared2 runway shows, created by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, are among the most irreverent highlights of a Milan Fashion Week, often deemed too tame. This year was no exception.
With just days to go before the opening of the Winter Olympics, taking place a few hundred kilometers from the Italian capital, the duo recreated a snowy ski resort setting on the runway to unveil Edged2, their Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection.
In this striking winter landscape, a single silhouette was enough to turn up the heat. Opening the show, Canadian actor Hudson Williams electrified the catwalk. The star of Heated Rivalry, a gay romance set in the world of competitive sports which became a global sensation, perfectly embodies a new generation of faces capable of uniting a community far beyond the fashion world. A winning move for Dsquared2, once again proving its flair for timing and dramatic impact…
A sensual collection ironically inspired by the world of skiing
At the core of this Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection, Dsquared2 goes all in. Oversized puffer jackets in vivid colours or covered in crystals, looks inspired by vintage ski suits… The label embraces a deliberately retro-kitsch aesthetic, echoing the revival of the 2010s – especially the year 2016 – that has been trending across social media since January 2026.
Accessories play the lead character in this story. Oversized faux fur trapper hats, large mittens and caps, ski boots revamped in the brand’s signature colors… Every detail amplifies the signature exuberance of Dsquared2.
Regarding womenswear, the brand injects a touch of sensuality through revealing corsets and skintight latex-look catsuits that starkly contrast with the show’s icy setting. For Dean and Dan Caten, next winter is undoubtedly going to be hot.
That message is even conveyed on a sweater emblazoned with the words “Hot as Ice.” A clear statement that, even under a storm of artificial snow, Dsquared2 remains one of the most closely watched and thrilling shows of Milan Fashion Week…
