The rise of the bag charms trend
Highlighted by the platform Lyst, the 153% increase in searches for bag charms is proof of their huge popularity. Why? These bold and playful lucky charms reflect your mood for the day, elevate your handbag, and above all, bring a little joy to your daily life, dulled by the grey sky of winter.
Although bag charms were long dismissed as kitsch or even outdated, today it makes a statement at a time when fashion enjoys flirting with bad taste. Somewhere between accessory and talisman, intimate jewel and trinket, it is much more than a mere adornment.
Our bag charm picks

The bling bag charm
As always, the most extravagant among us will gravitate toward whimsical, flashy pieces this season. They will find what they are looking for at Diesel and Coach, where keychains can draw anyone’s attention. Or at Chloé, where Chemena Kamali designed radiant golden trinkets, spotted on the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 catwalk.

The plush bag charm
The Labubu doesn’t need any introduction. This endearing and grotesque character is the embodiment of the quintessential bag charm. It has popularized the mini-plush and transformed it into a distinctive handbag accessory, now embraced by the biggest names in fashion. Loewe, for instance, presents an irresistibly desirable mini koala, while Burberry unveils a teddy bear wrapped in a wool and cashmere blanket printed with the house’s signature emblem.

The iconic bag charm
While Miu Miu plays with its own codes by reworking its iconic striped polo, Louis Vuitton continues its legendary collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Lastly, Balenciaga celebrates its heritage with a miniature bag charm. A faithful replica of the bottle of its elixir Le Dix, the house’s first perfume, created in 1947 by Cristóbal Balenciaga himself.
