8 trends spotted at the Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Week
Numéro takes a look back at the key trends spotted at the Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Week in Milan and Paris. From preppy ensembles to workwear jackets and mini-shorts, here is an overview of the wardrobe men will want to have in the next few months.

1. Officewear and preppy style
Preppy is undeniably one of the must-have aesthetics of this Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Week. Seen on Fendi’s catwalk at the Milan Fashion Week, this silhouette is characterized by quite elegant and refined details and has a strong presence on the runway with cardigans and polo shirts featuring revamped volumes. At Amiri, Sacai and Drôle de Monsieur the trend also appears on slim-fit suits, available in a brown and beige color palette.
2. See-through shirts
Although the scorching summer heat didn’t hit Europe during the Men’s Fashion Week, the silhouettes seen on the catwalks alone helped to raise the temperature. In Milan, sheer shirts were paired with BDSM-inspired harnesses and leather pants at Dsquared2’s sultry fashion show, while sheer turtleneck sweaters revealed the models’ torsos in the latest Louis Vuitton collection designed by Pharrell Williams.
3. When sport inspires fashion
As the UEFA European Championship is in full swing and the Paris Summer Olympics is just around the corner, the catwalks of the Fashion Week have drawn their inspiration from the world of sport for their new Spring/Summer 2025 collections.
Drawing on blokecore, a trend inspired by the style of soccer fans, Fendi and Louis Vuitton featured several jerseys on their catwalks, while the label 3. Paradis presented an exclusive collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain Football Club. At the Moschino Spring/Summer 2025 show a knitted sweater even takes the shape of a soccer ball, once again attesting that the sporty trend has arrived.
4. Rhinestones invade the men’s wardrobe
In a Spring/Summer 2025 collection marked by silhouettes inspired by streetwear, the Bluemarble show marked the arrival of rhinestones in the men’s wardrobe. Embroidered on jeans or jumpsuits, they add an extra touch of bling to any look. At the Amiri show, colorful suit jackets are adorned with rhinestones as a tribute to the Hollywood folklore from which designer Mike Amiri draws his inspiration for his collections.
5. Workwear everywhere
The workwear trend, which borrows cuts from work uniforms, is still carving out a place for itself in the world of men’s fashion. Taking the shape of a revamped blue overalls at Bluemarble, of zip-up jumpsuits at the Ami, or of multi-pocket jackets at Dior and Hermès, workwear has literally taken the Parisian catwalks by storm this season.
6. The striped top arrives in town
In Milan, the Dolce & Gabbana Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 show featured a series of silhouettes designed to shine at the beach under the Italian sun. In addition to raffia jackets and flowing suits, the major trend of this summer collection probably is the striped top introduced by Stefan Gabbana and Domenico Dolce this season.
Used on shirts, pants, cardigans and shorts, stripes create a nonchalant, yet elegant attitude in the wake of the Italian dandies of the 1970s and 1980s. This sailor-inspired trend has also been spotted at the Fendi’s and Kenzo’s runway shows.
7. Mini-shorts for men
Spotted at Fendi and Dsquared2, mini-shorts for men are trending this season. Next summer, the men’s wardrobe will be filled with these daring fashion pieces, available in a leather version at Gucci, or in a form-fitting, cycling shorts version at Louis Gabriel Nouchi.
8. The arrival of pumps for men
Slowly introduced last season, pumps for men are being democratized in the Spring-Summer 2025 collections. Long discarded from our wardrobes, pumps are now hitting the catwalks. At the Fendi show, ballet flats were available in patent, fur or braided versions, while Moschino offered a casual, more comfortable, red leather version.
