Rosalía and the divine turbulence of Berghain
With Berghain (2025), a single with operatic overtones that heralded her major comeback with the album Lux (2025), Rosalía shatters all boundaries. The video is a visual match for this baroque track. Blending symphonic orchestra, dramatic tension, and religious references, the singer undergoes a radical metamorphosis.
In Rosalía’s phantasmagorical world, Björk appears as a tiny bird in a scene reminiscent of Disney heroines. Directed by Nicolás Méndez, the video draws its inspiration from Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi and a striking scene from Blue (1993), the masterful opus from Krzysztof Kieślowski’s trilogy Three Colours.
Striptease, FKA twigs’ hypnotic performance in Marseille
FKA twigs has long been known for her stunning videos. In Striptease, she contorts under the gaze of her partner Jordan Hemingway. Like a fluid performer, the British artist continues her extraterrestrial journey through her album Eusexua in a highway tunnel in Marseille, France.
