Rosalía, Björk et Yves Tumor – Berghain (2025).

Rosalía and the divine turbulence of Berghain

With Berghain (2025), a single with operatic overtones that heralded her major comeback with the album Lux (2025), Rosalía shatters all boundaries. The video is a visual match for this baroque track. Blending symphonic orchestra, dramatic tension, and religious references, the singer undergoes a radical metamorphosis.

In Rosalía’s phantasmagorical world, Björk appears as a tiny bird in a scene reminiscent of Disney heroines. Directed by Nicolás Méndez, the video draws its inspiration from Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi and a striking scene from Blue (1993), the masterful opus from Krzysztof Kieślowski’s trilogy Three Colours.

    FKA twigs – Striptease (2025)

Striptease, FKA twigs’ hypnotic performance in Marseille

FKA twigs has long been known for her stunning videos. In Striptease, she contorts under the gaze of her partner Jordan Hemingway. Like a fluid performer, the British artist continues her extraterrestrial journey through her album Eusexua in a highway tunnel in Marseille, France. A minimalist visual staging for a radical (techno) work.

Striptease (2025) by FKA twigs, available now.

Addison Rae – Fame is a Gun (2025)

Addison Rae as a pop superstar in Fame Is a Gun

With the video for Fame Is a Gun (2025), Addison Rae establishes herself far beyond her TikTok origins. Crafted like a short indie film, where pastel glamour collides with pop irony, everything is styled as a dark comedy on the illusions of fame – platinum wig, pink trench coat, artificial banquet. The American star turns her own image into a weapon aiming straight at the heart of Gen Z. Fame Is a Gun (2025) by Addison Rae, available now.

    Lady Gaga — Abracadabra (2025)

Abracadabra, Lady Gaga’s grand gothic mass

With Abracadabra (2025), Lady Gaga revives the dramatic darkness of her 2010 song Alejandro, reminding us she still is the high priestess of spectacular pop videos. Dazzling choreography, baroque costumes, latex silhouettes… Everything recalls electro-opera and the joy of pure performance in that video co-directed with Parris Goebel and Bethany Vargas. The American superstar replays her own myth with precision, exuberance and balance. To this day, she remains one of the greatest performers of the 21st century. Abracadabra (2025) by Lady Gaga, available now.

    Sabrina Carpenter – Tears (2025).

Sabrina Carpenter’s Rocky Horror Picture Show

The brilliant American artist Sabrina Carpenter rarely disappoints us when it comes to her music videos. She puts as much care into her melodies and pin-up looks as she does into her videos. In 2025, she hits hard with the playful video for Manchild, and above all, with the wild and polished clip for her hit Tears (2025). This sexy horror short borrows heavily from the cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), featuring Colman Domingo delivering an impressive drag performance, while the pop star is pole dancing in the middle of a field.

Tears (2025) by Sabrina Carpenter, available now.

Tyler, The Creator – Sugar On My Tongue (2025).

Sugar on My Tongue, Tyler, The Creator’s unhinged party

In Sugar on My Tongue (2025), rapper Tyler, The Creator veers off course and shines in a funk-rap-pop video brimming with nonstop energy. Saturated colours, offbeat choreographies, and BDSM references… The whole project feels like an improvised party gone clearly off the rails. The former member of Odd Future reclaims the total visual freedom he has championed since his debuts, blending wild styling with calculated spontaneity, which also runs through Don’t Tap The Glass (2025), his latest album. Sugar on My Tongue (2025) de Tyler, The Creator, available now.

    Theodora – Fashion Designa (2025)

    Fashion Designa, Theodora’s splendid moodboard

With Fashion Designa (2025), Theodora delivers a music video that feels like a psychedelic mood board. On the menu: Andy Warhol’s pop art mouths, Grace Jones’ sculptural poses, and Salvador Dalí‘s surrealist fantasies. It’s all woven into a carefully choreographed collage of images, like a poetic runway show. The young singer reimagines the music video as a total work of art packed with visual references, from The Little Prince (1943) by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Charles Laughton. Fashion Designa (2025) by Theodora, available now.

Charli xcx – House featuring John Cale (2025).

After the Brat aesthetic, Charli xcx goes full gothic in House

After launching the “Brat summer” in 2024 with her album Brat, Charli xcx sets the tone for a gothic fall and winter. Neon green gives way to black in her new aesthetic. In the video for House, a rock and symphonic track sung by John Cale, taken from the soundtrack of the sultry film Wuthering Heights (2026), starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie, she appears as a dark, baroque heroine wearing outfits inspired by the Victorian era, among others. Candles, nocturnal forest, raven… Everything is gloomy, yet sublime.

House (2025) by Charli xcx, available now.

Clipse – So Be It (2025).

Clipse’s big comeback with So Be It

Clipse’s comeback unfolds in the sharp black and white of So Be It (2025), an explosive video that’s already a contender for “Best Music Video of 2025” at the 2026 Grammy Awards. The direction evokes a minimalist thriller, where Hannan Hussain’s camera seems to closely watch the two men rather than telling their story outright. Pusha T and No Malice reclaim a rare narrative power here, blending icy confidence with surgical precision. The duo delivers a meaningful project, steeped in mafioso elegance. So Be It (2025) by Clipse, available now.
