From We Love Green to Lollapalooza: 2025’s most electrifying festivals
2025 has only just begun, but this year’s festival lineups are already shaping up to be more thrilling than ever. The program for the 2025 edition of We Love Green is a case in point: from June 6 to 8, an impressive constellation of performers will take to the stage in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes.
Spearheading the “Brat Summer” that defined our past summer, the unstoppable Charli XCX will perform on June 7—her only scheduled date in France—alongside French Touch pioneers Air, the electro-pop duo Magdalena Bay, and Maureen, the reigning queen of shatta. Other highlights include the genre-defying FKA twigs, Yseult, and Lucky Love.
Just a month later, Yardland returns for its second edition at the Hippodrome de Paris-Vincennes from July 4 to 6. According to Yard co-founder Yoan Prat, Yardland is “a prototype festival: the prototype of a new land of celebration bringing together all pillars of popular culture—art, fashion, food culture, community engagement, and music.” Headliners include Hamza, Tiakola, Meryl, and rising star Theodora.
Chappell Roan: Rock en Seine’s star for 2025
Across the capital, Lollapalooza Paris will take over the Hippodrome Paris-Longchamp from July 18 to 20. Kicking things off on July 18 are American pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo, Shaboozey, The Last Dinner Party, and Benson Boone. The festival also boasts performances from Raye, Tems, Nathy Peluso, and R’n’B girl group FLO.
Finally, Rock en Seine 2025 will close out the festival season from August 20 to 24 at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. Though only four artists have been announced so far, they’ve already stirred plenty of excitement, starting with the deliciously camp pop singer Chappell Roan, set to perform on opening day. She’ll be followed by rapper A$AP Rocky, up-and-comer Doechii, electro icons Justice, and R’n’B talent Jorja Smith.
Kendrick Lamar, SZA, FKA twigs, Dua Lipa, Beyoncé… The must-see Concerts of 2025
In addition to her We Love Green appearance, experimental artist FKA twigs will take the stage at Paris’s Zénith on March 13. After performing at Salle Pleyel in 2019 and the Valentino spring-summer 2024 runway show, she returns to France to present her euro-techno album Eusexua, released January 24, 2025.
Sabrina Carpenter, hailed as the breakout pop star of 2024, has two Paris dates scheduled at the Accor Arena on March 16 and 17 for her Short ’n Sweet Tour.
Tyler, The Creator—known for his hit See You Again—will also stop at the Accor Arena on April 27 and 28 as part of his Chromakopia tour, named after his late-2024 album.
Other major artists set to perform in France this year include 070 Shake, Jennie from Blackpink, Lenny Kravitz, Kylie Minogue, and Kaytranada. Nigerian superstar Burna Boy will headline a special show at the Stade de France on April 18.
On the French side, Clara Luciani, who released Mon Sang at the end of 2024, begins touring January 18 in Amiens, with dates in Rennes, Lille, Dijon, Paris, and Marseille. Rising artist Theodora will also be hitting several major French cities, including Paris and Bordeaux in April, and Nantes in March 2025.
In 2025, numerous international artists will take to the stage in France as part of their global tours. Among the biggest names on the international scene, Dua Lipa and Sabrina Carpenter are set to delight fans across major venues in the country. The Houdini and Don’t Start Now hitmaker will perform in Lyon and the Paris region, with a show in Nanterre scheduled for May 2025.
Even better news: pop royalty Beyoncé will light up the Stade de France with three concerts on June 19, 21, and 22, in support of her album Cowboy Carter.
Fresh off their electrifying Super Bowl halftime performance, Kendrick Lamar and SZA—two stars from the Top Dawg Entertainment label—have announced a one-night-only show in Paris, at La Défense Arena on July 15. The concert is part of a 13-date tour spanning Europe and the UK.
Billie Eilish and Diana Ross performing at the Accor Arena de Paris in 2025
No 2025 concert roundup would be complete without mentioning Billie Eilish. At just 23, the superstar behind Hit Me Hard and Soft (released May 2024) will perform at the Accor Arena on June 10 and 11 as part of her world tour.
And nearly two decades after her last Paris concert, disco legend Diana Ross will return to the Accor Arena for a one-night-only performance on July 6, 2025.
Scratch Massive returns to the stage
Pioneers of the French electro scene, Scratch Massive will take over the Trianon in Paris on April 10 with their signature dreamlike, chiaroscuro sound.
After a six-year break focused on solo projects and film scores, the duo—Maud Geffray and Sébastien Chenut—is back with Nox Anima, a new electro album released February 7, 2025. Recorded in Los Angeles, this ten-track project immerses listeners in the city’s unique, hypnotic ambiance, blending lush electronic textures with mellow trap beats.
A standout track features a dreamy collaboration with Yelle, whose charismatic yet playful melancholy vocals add a mystical, entrancing layer to the song Des choses.
Directed by the duo Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello, the accompanying music video enhances the dreamlike atmosphere with night-lit, glittery visuals. With Nox Anima and its prestigious collaborations, Scratch Massive reaffirms their iconic status on the French electronic scene—and we can’t wait to see them live on April 10 at the Trianon.
