Atlanta: Donald Glover finally unveils an ultra-cryptic trailer for season 3
Delayed due to the global pandemic, the trailer for season 3 of the Atlanta series has finally been unveiled. As successful as it is mysterious, this trailer bodes well for this long-awaited season.
As filming resumed on the Atlanta series – halted due to the pandemic – last spring, Donald Glover has finally unveiled a cryptic and successful trailer.e. To the rhythm of a heady chant, chanting these words: “It’s after the end of the word / C’est après la fin du monde” (It’s after the end of the world)the first images from the series show a ruined manor house and the dark, deserted streets of the American city. As he exits a terrifying maze, the camera zooms in on Paper Boy – played by Brian Tyree Henry – with gold chains around his neck and a super-threatening stare. While this season will comprise ten episodes, season 4, already in production, is scheduled to arrive in 2023.
Multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award winners, Atlant has seduced the world with its impressive first two seasons. Created in 2016 by ultra-multidisciplinary artist Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino ( producer, screenwriter and rapper), the plunges us into the lives of two precarious cousins determined to break into the Atlanta rap scene, played respectively by Daniel Glover and Brian Tyree Henry. Poetic and intelligent, this already cult series mixes humor and subversive social criticism as usual.
