A night out in London at the Burberry show
The Burberry Fall/Winter 2026–2027 show closed London Fashion Week with a collection immersed in the vibrant and rainy atmosphere of the British capital by night.

Burberry recreates Tower Bridge for its runway show
Last season, Burberry unveiled a Spring show inspired by the sixties and Britain’s great music festivals. However, this Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection unveils a colder, more elegant mood… The fashion house opted for a large-scale reproduction of the iconic Tower Bridge as its setting to lay the groundwork for its main inspiration — the vibrant, rainy atmosphere of London by night. Far from the cut-out dresses and bright colors that flooded the previous collection, Daniel Lee envisions an urban wardrobe in which, as usual, Burberry’s icons merge with the designer’s contemporary vision.
Functional pieces are revamped. Leather jackets, hoodies and raincoats have become more sophisticated, suitable for evening wear and rainy days spent roaming London’s streets. In front of the city’s emblematic bridge and to a dynamic playlist featuring tracks by FKA Twigs, the models — including Romeo Beckham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley — walked down the runway as though they were making their way through the capital’s pubs and chic restaurants, with elegance and a touch of nonchalance.
A Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection
Gone is the vibrant color palette of Spring/Summer 2026. Dark, plain hues shape the sophisticated and minimalist silhouettes. The casualness of the looks is offset by the refined fabrics and craftsmanship characteristic of this show. Shearling cut raw along the edges of jackets or reworked into checks, silk faille forming ruffles along trench coat collars, smooth lambskin with iridescent sheen looking like oil slicks or rain on asphalt…
Through these simple yet strikingly effective silhouettes, Daniel Lee puts an emphasis on fabrics and ancestral techniques so dear to the fashion house. Burgundy and blue checked trench coats are meticulously handwoven on traditional looms. Knitwear is reinvented as ribbed silk-mohair coats finished with looped fringes… Leather unfolds through a variety of treatments, from shawl-collar coats to sturdy biker jackets in braided leather, resembling contemporary suits of armour.
This care extends to the smallest details, catching the runway lights of this Burberry show. Tubular bead embroidery adorns the sides of trousers, while hand-knitted dresses are embellished with beads and sequins, like tiny droplets… A discreet ode to the mist and rain that hovered over the streets of the British capital during the last days of this busy London Fashion Week.
