After a very rich year of 2025 musically-speaking, marked by album releases from Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Rosalía, Addison Rae, as well as a duet between Doechii and SZA, 2026 promises some exciting surprises when it comes to new records and singles.

The release of the soundtrack Stranger Things, season 5, kicked off on January 1st, 2026. The following day, the band Katseye dropped their new track, Internet Girl. On January 5th, rapper A$AP Rocky released a new single, Punk Rocky, along with a music video featuring actress Winona Ryder.
On January 9th, Madonna released a cover of La Bambola, a 1968 Italian song originally sung by Patty Pravo, for the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance campaign The One, of which she is the new face. That same day, Bruno Mars is making a big comeback with the track I Just Might, while the rock band Dry Cleaning is unveiling their new album, Secret Love. Other notable releases include tracks from Sault, Robyn, Sébastien Tellier, Morrissey, Ari Lennox, and a duet between Sam Quealy and Marlon Magnée.

Later in the month, two remastered albums by Alan Vega (Suicide) will be released on January 23rd, 2026. Singer Cat Power‘s new EP, Redux EP, as well as new tracks by James Blake and Marlon Magnée will also make its way into our playlists. At the same time, producer Gesaffelstein will make waves with Enter The Gamma, while a new Megadeth opus is sure to delight metal fans. That same day, Harry Styles and Arctic Monkeys are making their comeback.
January 30th is marked by two major music releases. Singer Sébastien Tellier will drop his latest album, Kiss The Beast, at the same time as Sam Quealy‘s new opus Jawbreaker. In addition to that, Bruce Springsteen, Cobrah, Christine and the Queens, Tems, Don Toliver and Thundercat unveil new material.
However, while Lana Del Rey‘s new album – possibly titled Stove – had been expected on January 30th, 2026, the singer has remained silent this month. Fans are hoping she will release new tracks in February, even though the artist is known for keeping her audience waiting.
