As the last days of autumn give way to the freezing embrace of winter, American pop stars seem to have found the perfect remedy to warm our hearts. Many are offering covers of Christmas songs and conceptual albums for the holiday season.

To open the holiday season in style, we can always count on American singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera, a familiar voice when it comes to Christmas songs. She even released an album titled My Kind of Christmas back in 2000.

This year, the artist is presenting a concert film, Christmas in Paris, shot in Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background and directed by Sam Wrench (Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Billie Eilish: Live at the O2). The film will premiere on December 14th, 2025, at the Grand Rex in Paris. Highlights include dance sequences at the Crazy Horse, powerful live vocal performances, and a duet with Yseult on Ave Maria. An album titled Christmas in Paris will be released on music platforms on December 15th, 2025.

Looking to celebrate the holiday season in style with another singer? American artist Sabrina Carpenter released a Christmas-themed EP titled Fruitcake in 2023. Then, on December 6th, 2024, she heated up the small screen with her Christmas Special, A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter, released on Netflix.

Taking on a niche long dominated by the one and only Mariah Carey, the young singer behind the album Short n’ Sweet (2024) delivers a fun, playful show full of musical moments. The program features a host of star-studded duets, including Tyla, Chappell Roan, Shania Twain, and Kali Uchis, comedy sketches, and guest appearances from actors and actresses in a joyful, festive setting… Sabrina Carpenter also sports cute and sexy stage outfits – a great inspiration for your Christmas or New Year’s Eve look.

Still, Mariah Carey hasn’t sung her last note. As always, when the holidays approach, the distant chime of a xylophone rings out, playing the opening notes of All I Want for Christmas Is You (1994), performed by the undisputed queen of Christmas.

In 2020, Mariah Carey teamed up with Apple TV to keep the Christmas magic alive. On December 4th, 2020, the American singer premiered her special Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special. The TV show hosted by the hilarious Tiffany Haddish welcomed powerhouse performances by Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, and even American rapper Snoop Dogg!

This year, Apple Music and TikTok will livestream Mariah Carey’s final Christmas residency concert on December 13th, 2025. The performance will include songs from Here For It All, the singer-songwriter’s sixteenth studio album. Apple Music subscribers will then be able to stream the show on demand on December 14th, for an extra dose of holiday cheer.
