What will Robert Pattinson’s debut album sound like?

Widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation, British star Robert Pattinson may soon announce the release of his first solo music project. With seven tracks co-written with Marcus Foster and registered with ASCAP earlier this November 2025, singer Suki Waterhouse’s partner is about to venture into a new artistic territory.

  • What can we expect from Robert Pattinson’s debut music project?

Ever since Robert Pattinson filed seven original songs with ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), fans of the charismatic British actor have been holding their breath. All the tracks were co-written with his longtime musician friend Marcus Foster. The latter is close to Michael Kiwanuka and Adi Oasis, and has been described by The Sunday Times as a hybrid of Prince, D’Angelo, Tom Waits and Joe Cocker.

As of now, no release date or format – EP or LP – have been confirmed, which only deepens the curiosity of film and music lovers alike. The artist, who shares his life with model, actress and singer Suki Waterhouse, may also draw his inspiration from her musical world – one of rock, pop, and psychedelia – in some of his new tracks.

Two songs already included in the Twilight soundtrack

Yet, this musical turn comes as no surprise. The Batman (2022) star, who will soon appear in Die My Love (2026) alongside Jennifer Lawrence, had already lent his voice to some of the songs from the soundtrack of the first Twilight (2008). His melancholic folk-rock and acoustic tracks, Never Think and Let Me Sign (both released in 2008), highlighted his musical ambitions.

With his deep, raw voice made for understated folk, grunge, and lo-fi indie rock, Robert Pattinson showed that he had everything it takes to embark on an authentic, handcrafted project, far from the usual industry formulas. We can’t wait to hear his upcoming compositions.

Robert Pattinson’s music project does not have a release date yet.
