and Louise Menard.

The house of Armani celebrates its 50th anniversary with a digital platform and an exhibit
For the first time in its history, the Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan’s temple of classical art, is opening its galleries to the fashion industry. And not just for any occasion… the legendary designer Giorgio Armani, who sadly passed away on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, is unveiling fifty years of creation in a unique retrospective. Titled Armani/Archivio, the exhibition brings together nearly 150 iconic silhouettes from the house’s archives. From the understated suits of his early days to the flowing gowns spotted on the red carpet, each piece opens a dialogue with the museum’s masterpieces, offering a new perspective on Giorgio Armani’s aesthetic.
Conceived as a long-term project, Armani/Archivio also takes the form of an interactive digital platform, launched on August 30th on the sidelines of the Venice Film Festival. It allows visitors to explore the house’s archives through sketches, photographs, and accessories. Finally, on September 28th, 2025, the house of Giorgio Armani will close the Milan Fashion Week with flair thanks to a runway show staged in the majestic courtyard of Palazzo Brera. An exceptional event that will extend the celebration of the house’s 50th anniversary. Thus highlighting Giorgio Armani’s everlasting mark on the history of fashion.
“Armani/Archivio,” exhibition openning on September 24th, 2025. Pinacoteca di Brera, Via Brera 28, 20121 Milan, Italy.

Corso Como Gallery hosts Glen Luchford’s first retrospective
Conceived by British fashion photographer and filmmaker Glen Luchford himself, the new exhibition at the 10.Corso.Como Gallery in Milan unfolds an immersive, intimate and visual journey into his universe. Bringing together a series of collages, the event perfectly reflects the signature grunge aesthetic and raw spontaneity of Glen Luchford’s images.
A dimly lit hotel room, an icy, deserted street or the inside of a car reminiscent of the heavy atmosphere of Taxi Driver (1976)… The photographer strives to shake fashion stereotypes up, and with them, conventional beauty canons. A unique opportunity to discover the very first solo exhibition devoted to Glen Luchford.
“Glen Luchford. Atlas”, exhibition on view from September 25th to November 23rd, 2025 at the Corso Como Gallery, Corso Como 10, 20154 Milan, Italy.

Gian Paolo Barbieri’s surreal photography
Italian fashion photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri, who passed away last year at the age of 86, left behind a monumental body of work. As a lifelong film enthusiast deeply influenced by American film noir, he approached photography through the lens of a director. This self-taught creative quickly gained experience working with prestigious magazines, which would lead to a career shaped by collaborations with the biggest names in the fashion industry.
The ultimate recognition of his talent came in 2018, when Gian Paolo Barbieri received the Lucie Award for International Fashion Photographer of the Year. He thus joined the ranks of iconic figures, such as Peter Lindbergh and Ellen von Unwerth. Already celebrated in numerous institutions, he is now at the heart of an exhibition gathering his most iconic images, alongside rarer works spanning the 1960s to the 2000s. A tribute to be discovered throughout winter.
“Eternal Elegance – The Timeless Photography of Gian Paolo Barbieri,” exhibition on view from September 25th, 2025, to January 15th, 2026. 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS gallery, Via Santa Margherita 11, 20138 Milan, Italy.
