What does Keanu Reeves, star of Outcome, have in store for us?

1. From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, a spin-off starring Ana de Armas

Since the success of the first John Wick film directed by Chad Stahelski in 2014, starring cult actor Keanu Reeves, 60, enthusiastic audiences are still as thrilled as ever. Following the release of the latest chapter, John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), a spin-off has just hit the silver screen, featuring Ana de Armas (Blonde, Knives Out) alongside the hero. Ballerina draws its inspiration from a sequence shot in Russia in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Rooney, the film’s protagonist played by Ana de Armas, steps into the shoes of an assassin trained in the tradition of the Ruska Roma, the criminal organisation that also trained John Wick.

After her action-packed performance as a Bond girl next to Daniel Craig in No Time to Die (2021), Ana de Armas appears convincing and fierce in Ballerina. In a 2023 interview with star host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, the Cuban actress shared that she had undergone intensive physical training for the role: “My body, my back… everything hurts. I’m complaining, I’m sore, I’m bruised. The James Bond scene lasted 15 minutes. This is a whole movie, another level.”

2. Keanu Reeves as a fallen actor in Jonah Hill’s upcoming film

A few years after his moving directorial debut with Mid90s (2018), a coming-of-age movie depicting the skate scene in Los Angeles, Jonah Hill is back behind the camera for another highly-anticipated feature. Titled Outcome, the film is scheduled for release on Apple TV on April 10th, 2026. This time Keanu Reeves will embody a fallen actor – a far cry from the hitman role he plays in the John Wick saga.

Little is known about this dramatic comedy, but the pairing of Jonah Hill and Keanu Reeves is certainly promising. The premise? “Reef, a damaged Hollywood star, who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip from his past.”

3. After Ballerina, a fifth installment of the John Wick saga?

Keanu Reeves is also set to star in Constantine 2 and be involved in both a Netflix film and series adaptation of BRZRKR, a comic book he wrote. Moreover, after the critical and box office success of the latest John Wick installment, the film industry is now wondering whether the hero, operating in New York, Paris and Berlin, will keep on performing stunts in a potential fifth chapter.

In other words, could John Wick 5 become a reality? Director Chad Stahelski has often stated that John Wick: Chapter 4 was meant to conclude the saga. Yet, Keanu Reeves told Entertainment Weekly in a 2023 interview: “I guess I’m going to have to lean on never say never. I mean, I wouldn’t do a John Wick film without Chad Stahelski.” So hope remains…

4. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock soon reunited in a romantic thriller?

Twenty years ago, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock collaborated on the action thriller Speed (1994) and the romantic drama The Lake House (2006). The two actors might well be reunited on screen soon. For now, the project remains shrouded in mystery. No official title, no director yet. It is said to be a romantic thriller written by Noah Oppenheim. The screenwriter was behind the biopic Jackie (2016) starring Natalie Portman and the series Zero Day (2025) with Robert De Niro.

One thing is certain, the chemistry between the two stars is still tangible. The return of such an iconic duo is more than enough to stir excitement around this mysterious film.
