Helmut Newton, Mario Testino and Jean Pigozzi, together in a must-see show

This legendary photography trio is being celebrated at the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin with a brand new exhibition conceived as a triptych: Helmut Newton’s Unseen, Mario Testino’s installation Undressed and finally Jean Pigozzi’s Pool Party. It’s a visual escapade of beautiful images by these sacred beasts.

Founded in 2003, the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin is paying tribute to three legendary photographers, Jean Pigozzi, Mario Testino and Helmut Newton himself, with an exhibition divided into three thematic paths.

Mario Testino Undressed is a sassy mix of fashion and nude shots, as the photographer pushes the boundaries between eroticism, art and anatomy. Photos freshly retrieved from Testino’s personal archives that in turn expose him by being presented for the first time.

The Unseen by Helmut Newton brings together a series of photos never seen by the general public. These photographic treasures complete the Dante-esque oeuvre of the German-Austrian master of sexy voyeurism and the female nude.

Jean Pigozzi’s Pool Party is made up of small-format photos that immortalise party moments with Naomi Campbell, Liz Taylor, Mick Jagger and Jack Nicholson round the photographer’s legendary swimming pool built on the Cap d’Antibes by designer Ettore Sottsas.
