Qui fera partie du jury lors du Festival de Cannes 2018 ?
Une semaine après l'annonce de la sélection officielle, le Festival de Cannes a dévoilé aujourd’hui les membres qui composeront le jury de cette 71e édition.

In the wake of Jessica Chastain, Will Smith and Agnès Jaoui, we reveal this year’s jury composed of five women and four men, who are:
The American actress Kristen Stewart
The French actress Léa Seydoux
The Quebecois director Denis Villeneuve (Incendies, Prisoners, Blade Runner 2049)
The French director Robert Guédiguian (Marius and Jeannette, Army of Crime, The House by the Sea)
American screenwriter Ava DuVernay (Middle of Nowhere, Selma)
The Russian director Andrey Zvyagintsev (Leviathan, Loveless)
The Burundian singer Khadja Nin (who collaborated with Sting)
The Taiwanese actor Chang Chen (muse for the Lacoste and Yamaha brands, and who starred in Chinese Odyssey in 2002 and Mr. Long)
This dynamic new jury presided over by the Australian actress Cate Blanchett, will announce the winners of the 71st film festival on May 19th, following a fierce competition between Jean-Luc Godard, Spike Lee and Asghar Farhadi (whose film is opening the event and stars Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem) but also directors under surveillance in their home countries like the Russian Kirill Serebrennikov and Iranian Jafar Panahi.

L'actrice américaine Kristen Stewart
L'actrice française Léa Seydoux
Le réalisateur québécois Denis Villeneuve (Incendies, Prisoners, Blade Runner 2049)
Le réalisateur français Robert Guédiguian (Marius et Jeannette, L'Armée du crime, La Villa)
La scénariste américaine Ava DuVernay (Middle of Nowhere, Selma)
Le cinéaste russe Andreï Zviaguintsev (Léviathan, Faute d'amour)
La chanteuse burundaise Khadja Nin (qui a notamment collaboré avec Sting)
L'acteur taïwanais Chang Chen (égérie des labels Lacoste et Yamaha, vu dans Chinese Odyssey en 2002 et Mr. Long)
Ce nouveau jury éclectique, présidé par l'actrice australienne Cate Blanchett, annoncera le palmarès de cette 71e édition du festival le 19 mai, à la suite d'une compétition où s'opposeront Jean-Luc Godard, Spike Lee, Asghar Farhadi (pour son film d'ouverture avec Penélope Cruz et Javier Bardem) mais aussi des réalisateurs sous surveillance dans leur pays comme le Russe Kirill Serebrennikov et l'Iranien Jafar Panahi.
