Last year, Rosal\u00eda<\/strong><\/a> blew us away when she released one of the year\u2019s finest records, Lux<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. Wildly ambitious, the album blended classical music, flamenco accents and electronic textures, among other elements. The songs were written in thirteen different languages and transported us thanks to their mystical tone, evoking female saints and sacred-looking outfits. But one question remained unanswered\u2026 How would the singer, who dazzled us with her previous Motomami World Tour<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, manage to bring to life the artistic level reached in her brilliant record on stage?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rosal\u00eda\u2019s spectacular and hybrid concert in Paris<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Audiences were given the beginning of an answer during the opening night of her world tour, the Lux Tour 2026<\/em><\/strong>, which kicked off in Lyon, France, on March 16th. Her first Parisian date was on March 18th, and Num\u00e9ro attended the concert. The tone was set before you even stepped inside the venue. Around us, at the Accor Arena<\/strong> (formerly Bercy), a large crowd of devotees in a hurry were present, all dressed in white. Long virginal skirts, feathered wings, crosses and nun-like headdresses were everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the Paris show, which began a little before 9 pm, it felt like a stinging response to Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s recent criticism of opera and ballet. In an interview with Variety<\/em> and CNN<\/em> broadcast on February 21st, the actor declared: \u201cI don\u2019t wanna be working in ballet or opera, or in things where it\u2019s like: \u2018Hey, keep this thing alive, even though no one cares about this anymore.\u2019 All respect to the ballet and opera people out there<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
