The singer, songwriter, actress and model was one of the most flamboyant, rock\u2019n\u2019roll stars of the 2010s. At the time, she was described as an it-girl. A way of saying she was part of every project, party and major event, dazzling photographers with her soft grunge aura.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now 33, the artist has starred in about ten films and in the third season of <strong>David Lynch<\/strong>\u2019s series <strong><em>Twin Peaks<\/em><\/strong>. She also released an album and numerous singles. While her last releases dated back to 2019, the singer\u00a0posted a video titled <em>Coming Soon<\/em> on YouTube and other social media platforms in 2022.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The clip featured the track<em> Don\u2019t Forget<\/em>, along with a promising message. One can hear the artist sing over languid, shoegaze guitar riffs. In the caption of that short, enigmatic teaser were the words: \u201c<em>Remember me?<\/em>\u201d All signs pointed at a new album by the American singer, which could be titled <strong><em>Masochism<\/em><\/strong>, according to numerous rumours.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5D0JeugTeNs\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5D0JeugTeNs<\/a><\/div>\r\n<figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sky Ferreira &#8211;<em> Leash<\/em> (2024).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h2>Sky Ferreira featured on the soundtracks of <em>Babygirl<\/em> and <em>Wuthering Heights<\/em><\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This upcoming opus, conceived as a sequel to the singer\u2019s excellent debut record <strong><em>Night Time, My Time<\/em> <\/strong>(2013), might see the light of day in 2026 according to the star. In the meantime, the artist had auditioned to portray <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/music\/madonna-what-we-know-about-the-two-tumultuous-biopics\/\"><strong>Madonna<\/strong><\/a> in an upcoming biopic about the scandalous pop icon. A role that would fit the blonde performer like a black lace glove. She is known for her provocative outfits and penchant for controversy &#8211; she posed nude on the famous art cover of her first LP. The erotic thriller starring <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/movies\/horror-witchcraft-eroticism-nicole-kidmans-exciting-new-projects\/\"><strong>Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a>, released in January 2025, caused a stir for its numerous explicit and BDSM scenes. It also introduced a wave of new listeners to the <strong>Sky<\/strong> <strong>Ferreira<\/strong> phenomenon. In 2026, the singer makes a powerful comeback.<strong> Sky Ferreira <\/strong>was featured on one of <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/movies\/for-which-cult-director-will-charli-xcx-shoot-an-erotic-thriller\/\"><strong>Charli xcx<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s songs composed for the soundtrack of <strong>Emerald Fennell<\/strong>\u2019s anticipated film <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture\/keeping-up-with-margot-robbie-jacob-elordi-and-the-bronte-sisters-in-yorkshire\/\"><strong><em>Wuthering Heights<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.
