The Met Gala, a major fashion event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Year after year, the Met Gala<\/strong><\/a> remains one of the most closely watched events in the fashion world. Every first Monday of May, the opening ceremony for the Metropolitan Museum of Art<\/strong>\u2019s grand annual exhibition gathers a host of celebrities. The event showcases spectacular creations and breathtaking collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of last year’s edition was \u201cSuperfine: Tailoring Black Style<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and focused on Black dandyism. Bad Bunny<\/strong><\/a> to Chappell Roan<\/a><\/strong> and Rihanna<\/strong><\/a> dazzled us with memorable red carpet looks in 2025. It also revisited dandyism through twelve key chapters, drawing its inspiration from Monica L. Miller<\/strong>\u2019s book Slaves to Fashion<\/em>. The latter co-curated the exhibition with Andrew Bolton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
