Directed by <strong>Kane Parsons<\/strong>, the youngest filmmaker ever signed by the studio, the feature is adapted from his web series inspired by a viral digital urban legend. The \u201cBackrooms\u201d are a labyrinthine space of empty, vertiginous yellow rooms where reality itself is unraveling. Fans will meet the iconic duo <strong>Tom Holland<\/strong>\/<strong>Zendaya<\/strong> once more, returning as Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and MJ. Anticipation is all the greater given that the previous installment, <em><strong>No Way Home<\/strong><\/em>, ended with a major plot twist\u2026 The entire world, including MJ and Peter\u2019s loved ones, forgot that Peter Parker ever existed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The central question of this new chapter is pretty obvious. How will Spider-Man recollect his memory and win back the love of those who no longer remember him? A familiar face on the Croisette, actress <strong>Virginie Efira<\/strong> presented two features in competition, including<em><strong> All of a Sudden<\/strong><\/em>. Directed by Japanese filmmaker <strong>Ryusuke Hamaguchi \u2014 winner<\/strong> of the Best Screenplay Award for<em> Drive My Car<\/em> in 2021, the film earned her the award for Best Actress with her co-star Tao Okamoto. For the role, <strong>Virginie Efira<\/strong> learned to speak Japanese and to write in kanji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She portrays the director of a care home for the elderly who develops a complex relationship with a Japanese playwright. Directed by Romanian filmmaker <strong>Cristian Mungiu<\/strong>, who previously won the Palme d\u2019Or in 2007 for <em><strong>4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days<\/strong><\/em>, the feature transports viewers to Norway. It stars <strong>Renate Reinsve<\/strong> (<em>The Worst Person in the World<\/em>,<em> Sentimental Value<\/em>) and Romanian-American actor <strong>Sebastian Stan<\/strong> (<em>Fresh<\/em>, <em>The Apprentice<\/em>). They portray Mihai and Libset, a Romanian-Norwegian couple who move with their children to the young woman\u2019s hometown, deep within the Scandinavian fjords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When teachers discover bruises on one of the children, the parents become prime suspects. What follows is a long legal investigation that puts assumptions and perceptions to the test.
