Josh Safdie is now back behind the camera with what the radical film <\/span><strong><i>Marty Supreme <\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2025), produced by <strong>A24<\/strong>. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/timothee-chalamet-today-cynicism-is-stronger-than-in-the-sixties\/\"><strong>Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">embodies <strong>Marty Mauser<\/strong>, a New-York tennis-table prodigy, in a thrilling social satire. The promising cast brings together <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/should-we-believe-in-gwyneth-paltrows-return-with-timothee-chalamet\/\"><b>Gwyneth Paltrow<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Odessa A\u2019zion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the rapper <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/tyler-the-creator-goes-back-to-the-roots-of-hip-hop-with-dont-tap-the-glass\/\"><b>Tyler, the Creator<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although this ambitious project won\u2019t see the light of day until next February, its promotion is already making waves. Why? Because <strong>Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong> has spoken about the behind-the-scenes of an intensive preparation, which reportedly began in 2018, and delivered a lifelike portrayal of table tennis champion <strong>Marty Reisman<\/strong>. To do him justice, the French-American actor embarked on a very serious training program\u2026 He even revealed that he would bring a table with him on most of his travels so he could keep practicing without interruption.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An ambitious preparation<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>Everything I was working on, it was this secret: I had a table in London while I was making\u00a0Wonka. On\u00a0<\/em>Dune 2<em>, I had a table in Budapest, Jordan. I had a table in Abu Dhabi. I had a table at the Cannes Film Festival for\u00a0<\/em>The French Dispatch<em>. I got myself an Airbnb in a town [around] Saint-Tropez after\u00a0<\/em>The French Dispatch<em>, overlooking the water, and I was taking lessons there<\/em>,\u201d the actor told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-features\/timothee-chalamet-josh-safdie-marty-supreme-1236394182\/\"><em data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1084\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decision to allocate a $70 million budget &#8211; a record for <strong>A24<\/strong> according to <em data-start=\"137\" data-end=\"146\">Variety<\/em> and <em data-start=\"151\" data-end=\"175\">The Hollywood Reporter &#8211; <\/em>places this film at the crossroads of experimental cinema and mainstream entertainment. Shot between <strong>Brooklyn<\/strong> and <strong>Japan<\/strong>, <em data-start=\"299\" data-end=\"314\">Marty Supreme<\/em> intends to explore the modern champion, caught between commercial entertainment and the pursuit of transcendence. Following<strong> <em data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"466\">A Complete Unknown<\/em><\/strong> (2024), a biopic about the legendary Bob Dylan, <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/should-we-believe-in-gwyneth-paltrows-return-with-timothee-chalamet\/\"><strong>Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong><\/a>, who recently made headlines for his radically new look, once again finds himself playing a powerful role.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marty Supreme by Josh Safdie will come out in theatres on February 18th, 2026.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PI6-qKhzTt8\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PI6-qKhzTt8<\/a><\/div>\r\n<figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The trailer of <em>Marty Supreme<\/em> (2025) by Joshua Safdie.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><i>Dune: Part Three<\/i>, the resolution of Denis Villeneuve&#8217;s messianic trilogy<\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trilogy eventually came to an end. Quebec filmmaker <strong>Denis Villeneuve<\/strong> confirmed it in an interview with <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vanity Fair<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/which-major-actor-could-play-the-villain-in-dune-3\/\"><em>Dune: Part Three <\/em><\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2026) will indeed be an adaptation of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Frank Herbert<\/strong>&#8216;s second novel <strong><i>Dune Messiah<\/i><\/strong>. <strong>Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong> will once again portray the fiery <strong>Paul Atreides<\/strong>, now turned prophet, caught in the tragic fate he built for himself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expected for December 2026, the project places the actor in one of the most ambitious sci-fi stories portrayed on the big screen. Alongside the actor, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/interview-with-zendaya-gen-z-idol-and-sultry-heroine-of-challengers\/\"><b>Zendaya<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/the-best-of-florence-pugh-star-of-thunderbolts\/\"><b>Florence Pugh<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/the-batman-part-ii-with-robert-pattinson-is-taking-shape\/\"><b>Robert Pattinson<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be part of this terrific cast. However, <\/span><strong><i>High Side<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, directed by <strong>James Mangold<\/strong> (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Complete Unknown<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ford v Ferrari<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), could well be <strong>Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong>&#8216;s next playground. The feature film, based on a short story written by <strong>Jaime Oliveira<\/strong>, is centred around the universe of motocross. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Billy, a former MotoGP racer haunted by an accident that brutally put a stop to his career, gets entangled in an armed robbery in spite of himself. Although no official filming dates have been announced, one thing&#8217;s for sure\u2026 The 29 years-old actor refuses to be put in a box.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i><span
