As a true icon of the 1990s, Pamela Anderson<\/strong><\/a>, 58, remains as radiant as ever. She was at the heart of the Disney+ series Pam & Tommy<\/em><\/strong> (2022), inspired by her tumultuous romance with M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce drummer Tommy Lee. Then, in 2023, she was the topic of the Netflix documentary Pamela, A Love Story<\/strong><\/em>. Now, she is set to step back into the spotlight with two exciting new projects on the silver screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, she will star next to\u00a0Debbie Harry<\/strong>, the lead singer of the band\u00a0Blondie<\/strong>, in\u00a0Maitreya<\/strong><\/em>, a comedy directed by\u00a0Jonathan Krisel. Debbie Harry will play Pamela Anderson<\/strong>\u2019s mother in the feature film, which is expected to come out in cinemas in 2027. The premise?\u00a0\u201cMaitreya, a New Age therapy guru, is about to leave for a conference in India when she receives a call from her sister Monica. Their father is dying. Rather than stay by his side, Maitreya decides to take her entire family \u2014 including her mother Barbara \u2014 to the conference in order to put her New Age healing theories to the test.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pamela Anderson<\/strong>\u2019s cinematic renaissance takes roots in numerous thrilling projects. She is starring in Brazilian director Karim A\u00efnouz’s new film Rosebush Pruning<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (2026), an exploration of the complexities of a dysfunctional family. The feature stars Elle Fanning<\/strong>, Callum Turner<\/strong> (Masters of the Air<\/em>), and Riley Keough<\/a> <\/strong>(Daisy Jones & The Six<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pamela Anderson is also set to share the screen with another member of the Fanning family. She will join Dakota Fanning<\/strong> and Lindsay Duncan<\/strong> in Alma<\/strong><\/em>, the next feature by British filmmaker Sally Potter (Orlando). The actress is back in front of the camera<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although she can often be spotted in front rows of fashion shows, defying beauty norms by appearing without makeup, Pamela Anderson<\/strong><\/a> has kept a low profile on the big screen. Her last film appearance was a cameo in Philippe Lacheau\u2019s 2019 comedy Nicky Larson et le parfum de Cupidon<\/em><\/strong> (City Hunter<\/em>). But the Baywatch<\/em><\/strong> (1989\u20132001) star clearly isn\u2019t done yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actress appears in The Naked Gun<\/em>, <\/em>a reboot of The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!<\/em>. Hitting theatres on August 13th, 2025, the film arrives just months after The Last Showgirl<\/em> <\/strong>premiered in France. Directed by Gia Coppola<\/strong>, the niece of Sofia Coppola<\/a><\/strong> (Priscilla<\/em> starring Jacob Elordi<\/a><\/strong>) and Roman Coppola<\/strong>, The Last Showgirl<\/em><\/strong> captivates with its stellar cast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pamela Anderson<\/strong> plays a cabaret dancer alongside American actress Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong><\/a> (Halloween Kills<\/em>, Scream Queens<\/em>), Dave Bautista<\/strong> (Dune: Part Two<\/em>), and Kiernan Shipka<\/strong> (Twisters<\/em>, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
