One of them is a potential adaptation of <strong><em data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"607\">A Christmas Carol<\/em><\/strong>. The famous tale was originally written by British novelist Charles Dickens and focused on the character of Ebenezer Scrooge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Robert Eggers<\/strong>, a former production designer and fanatic of fantasy films, might tell the story of another iconic monster from the horror bestiary for his upcoming feature \u2013 the werewolf. The myth has already been brought to the screen several times, notably in <em data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"944\">The Wolf Man<\/em>&nbsp;(1941) and&nbsp;<em data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"988\">An American Werewolf in London<\/em> (1981).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lily-Rose Depp and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the cast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The American filmmaker is currently working on <em><strong>Werwulf<\/strong><\/em>, a medieval werewolf film.
