Each in their own way outlined a more ethical and singular vision of fashion. The first, through the use of recycled materials and surreal revivals of vintage clothing. The second, through exaggerated silhouettes and a fresh, playful style.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A true launchpad, the <strong>LVMH Prize<\/strong> shines a light on a handpicked group of designers. Not only are they recognized as names to watch closely in an increasingly saturated industry, but they also have the opportunity to meet professionals from the industry and potential future buyers over the course of a few days. But also Dior&#8217;s creative director <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/fashion\/fashion-week-en\/dior-what-to-remember-from-jonathan-andersons-debut-mens-show\/\">Jonathan Anderson<\/a>, <strong>Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re<\/strong> (<strong>Louis Vuitton<\/strong>), <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/fashion\/fashion-week-en\/nigo-presents-a-first-preppy-and-blossoming-fall-collection-for-kenzo-2\/\">Nigo<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/fashion\/exhibition-how-kenzo-takada-has-changed-fashion\/\">Kenzo<\/a>), <strong>Stella McCartney<\/strong>, along with <strong>Phoebe Philo<\/strong>, Silvia Venturini Fendi, and <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/how-pharrell-williams-became-a-music-and-fashion-icon\/\">Pharrell Williams<\/a>. And of course, the usual members <strong>Delphine Arnault<\/strong>, <strong>Jean-Paul Claverie<\/strong>, and <strong>Sidney Toledano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Announced last April, the 8 finalists of this 12th edition are sure to make deliberation difficult for this star-studded jury. The finalists come from all around the world.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Promising fashion designers<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, French designer Alain Paul and his universe inspired by dance. Then, the playful and colourful style of Dutch designer <strong>Danial Aitouganov<\/strong> with his label <strong>Zomer.<\/strong> But also, the bold glamour of <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/fashion\/what-is-method-dressing-or-the-art-of-embodying-a-character-to-promote-a-film-2\/\">Torish\u00e9ju Dumi<\/a> for Torish\u00e9ju (worn notably by <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/non-classifiee-2\/zendaya-in-12-fanciful-looks-2\/\">Zendaya<\/a>). Finally, the subtly eccentric tailoring of Japanese designer Soshiotsuki, as well as <strong>All-In<\/strong> by Benjamin Barron and Bror August Vestb\u00f8, <strong>Francesco Murano<\/strong>,<strong> Steve O Smith<\/strong> and <strong>Tolu Coker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contending for the<strong> 2025 LVMH Prize<\/strong> &#8211; worth \u20ac400,000 and a year of mentorship &#8211; and the Karl Lagerfeld Prize &#8211; \u20ac200,000 euros and one year of mentorship &#8211; both centered on creativity, the finalists are also eligible for the new <strong>Savoir-Faire Prize<\/strong> this year &#8211; \u20ac200,000 euros and one year of mentorship &#8211; which rewards craftsmanship, technical innovation and sustainable
