December 2025 on Netflix with George Clooney and Lily Collins<\/h2>\n\n

Netflix <\/strong>wraps up the year on a high note with an emotionally charged lineup, long-awaited returns and major releases. Starting on December 1st, 2025, Bong Joon-ho<\/strong>\u2019s masterpiece Parasite<\/em><\/strong> (2019) lands on the streaming platform. Winner of the Palme d\u2019Or<\/strong> at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival<\/strong>, this thriller stars Song Kang-ho<\/strong> and explores South Korea\u2019s strong economic and social divides.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Following its premiere at the Venice Film Festival<\/strong> last summer, Noah Baumbach<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s new feature film Jay Kelly<\/em><\/strong> will hit Netflix on December 5th. The film follows renowed actor George Clooney<\/strong> and his manager (played by Adam Sandler<\/strong>) on a European road trip. That impressive cast also includes Laura Dern<\/strong>, Riley Keough<\/strong>, Greta Gerwig<\/strong><\/a>, and Isla Fisher<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

The new chapter of the Knives Out<\/em> saga, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, will come out on December 12th. Daniel Craig<\/strong><\/a> and Josh O\u2019Connor<\/strong><\/a> will be at the heart of an unsolvable mystery. This month also brings more excitement as Emily in Paris<\/strong><\/a> – <\/em>retitled Emily in Rome<\/em><\/strong><\/a> – is back for a fifth season full of twists and turns on December 18th. In Rome, Emily (Lily Collins<\/strong><\/a>) is running her new agency, while facing risky career choices that threaten her love life…<\/p><\/p>\n\n

On December 24th, Netflix will unveil a moving Christmas story with Goodbye June<\/em><\/strong>, a family drama with Helen Mirren and Kate Winslet, who also directs the project. The story follows a terminally ill mother, who gathers her family for one last Christmas. Finally, the year ends with a bang on December 26th with the last four episodes of Stranger Things<\/em><\/strong><\/a> season 5, leading up to the final showdown against Vecna on January 1st.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

As for Disney+, the platform ends the year with a program blending fantasy and pop culture icons. On December 2nd, the episode 7 of All\u2019s Fair<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0season 1, starring Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> and Glenn Close<\/strong>, will give viewers more insight into the storyline as tensions between lawyers and the media continue to rise.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

HBO Max and Paramount+: Rami Malek and Orlando Bloom on the December list<\/h2>\n\n

Starting December 3rd, Amazon Prime Video<\/strong> will premiere Merry Christmas, Mom!<\/em> (2025), a family film directed by Michael Showalter<\/strong>. On December 12th, the Spanish romance Whisper To Me<\/em><\/strong> will land on Amazon Prime Video. Adapted from a novel written by Mercedes Ron<\/strong>, it follows Kami as her teenage years resurface when two brothers from her past return, stirring up memories, broken promises, and long-buried emotions.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

One of the highly anticipated releases of 2025 finally lands Apple TV+<\/strong>. The blockbuster F1<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, directed by Joseph Kosinski<\/strong> (Tron: Legacy<\/em>, Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>), will premiere on December 12th. The must-see films and series streaming last summer<\/h2>\n\n

August 2025 saw several major releases on streaming platforms. Fans couldn\u2019t miss the return of Jenna Ortega<\/strong><\/a> in the first part of Wednesday<\/em><\/strong><\/a> season 2. On Prime Video, Hollywood star Eddie Murphy<\/strong> led The Pickup<\/em><\/strong>, an explosive action comedy with Pete Davidson<\/strong>. And on Apple TV+, the third season of the sci-fi ensemble series Invasion<\/em>, led by actress Golshifteh Farahani<\/strong><\/a>, was a must-watch.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Last July, Lena Dunham<\/strong>‘s series Too Much<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, starring Ad\u00e8le Exarchopoulos<\/strong><\/a> and Emily Ratajkowski<\/strong><\/a>, quickly became one of the platform\u2019s flagship titles.
