That\u2019s at least what the British singer seemed to suggest on stage at Coachella on April 11th. At the end of her set at the festival, she displayed a series of artist names on a giant screen, each followed by the word \u201cSummer.\u201d One stood out: \u201c<em>Haim Summer<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following three acclaimed albums, the three sisters now unveil their latest and highly successful record. Titled <em data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1114\">I Quit<\/em>, the album was released on June 20th, 2025. Co-produced by Buddy Ross, known for his work on some of <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/non-classifiee\/billie-holiday-lana-del-rey-frank-ocean-the-incredible-album-of-cat-power-covers\/\">Frank Ocean<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture\/travis-scott-portrait-of-rap-superstar-2\/\">Travis Scott<\/a>\u2019s albums, this record promises the best of Haim. Take, for instance, the cover of <em data-start=\"1578\" data-end=\"1593\">Relationships<\/em>, which imitates snapshot of <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/movies\/nicole-kidman-babygirl-erotic-thriller-new-projects-film-series\/\">Nicole Kidman<\/a> smiling in 2001. Rumour has it that the original photo was taken just after her divorce from actor <strong>Tom Cruise<\/strong> was confirmed. Another playful nod? The cover of <em data-start=\"1812\" data-end=\"1850\">Everybody is trying to figure me out<\/em>, where the trio reproduces a famous image of <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/art-design\/the-day-lucian-freud-painted-kate-moss-naked-and-pregnant-2\/\">Kate Moss<\/a> wearing a striped sailor shirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lastly, the music videos of these singles feature brief appearances by some of internet&#8217;s favorite it-boys, like <strong>Drew Starkey<\/strong> or<strong> Logan Lerman<\/strong>&#8230; With its slick, cleverly crafted videos, <strong>Haim<\/strong> uses and plays with the emblems of pop culture with wit and cleverness. From an early age, they developed a love for instruments &#8211; Este played bass, Danielle the guitar, and Alana percussions. Danielle Haim writes, produces, and performs as a musician alongside other artists outside the trio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She appears on albums by indie pop singer <strong>Clairo<\/strong> and Canadian artist <strong>Carly Rae Jepsen<\/strong>. She starred as the protagonist of <a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/paul-thomas-anderson-propels-bradley-cooper-and-philip-seymour-hoffmans-son-into-the-70s\/\"><em data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"284\">Licorice Pizza<\/em><\/a> (2022), directed by <strong>Paul Thomas Anderson<\/strong>. A longtime friend and collaborator of the Haim family, the filmmaker had directed several of the band\u2019s music videos before offering <strong>Alana Haim<\/strong> her first major acting role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She took the lead of this wild odyssey through Los Angeles in the 1970s. The entire Haim clan, including the parents, even made a cameo in the film.
