1. From the World of John Wick: Ballerina<\/i>, a spin-off starring Ana de Armas<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since the success of the first <\/span>John Wick<\/i><\/strong> film directed by Chad Stahelski<\/strong> in 2014, starring cult actor Keanu Reeves<\/strong>, 60, enthusiastic audiences are still as thrilled as ever. Following the release of the latest chapter, <\/span>John Wick: Chapter 4<\/i><\/strong> (2023), a spin-off has just hit the silver screen, featuring Ana de Armas (<\/span>Blonde<\/i><\/strong>, <\/span>Knives Out<\/span><\/i><\/a>) alongside the hero. Ballerina<\/i><\/a> draws its inspiration from a sequence shot in Russia in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum<\/i>. Rooney, the film\u2019s protagonist played by Ana de Armas<\/a>, steps into the shoes of an assassin trained in the tradition of the Ruska Roma, the criminal organisation that also trained John Wick. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After her action-packed performance as a Bond girl next to Daniel Craig in <\/span>No Time to Die<\/i><\/strong> (2021), Ana de Armas appears convincing and fierce in <\/span>Ballerina<\/i><\/strong>. In a 2023 interview with star host Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> on <\/span>The Tonight Show<\/span><\/i>, the Cuban actress shared that she had undergone intensive physical training for the role: \u201c<\/span>My body, my back\u2026 everything hurts. I\u2019m complaining, I’m sore, I\u2019m bruised. The James Bond scene lasted 15 minutes. This is a whole movie, another level<\/span><\/i>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Keanu Reeves as a fallen actor in Jonah Hill\u2019s upcoming film<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A few years after his moving directorial debut with <\/span>Mid90s<\/strong><\/span><\/i> <\/strong>(2018), a coming-of-age movie depicting the skate scene in Los Angeles, Jonah Hill<\/strong> is back behind the camera for another highly-anticipated feature. Titled <\/span>Outcome<\/i><\/strong>, the film is scheduled for release on Apple TV<\/strong> on April 10th, 2026. This time Keanu Reeves<\/strong> will embody a fallen actor – a far cry from the hitman role he plays in the <\/span>John Wick<\/i><\/strong> saga.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little is known about this dramatic comedy, but the pairing of Jonah Hill and Keanu Reeves is certainly promising. The premise? \u201c<\/span>Reef, a damaged Hollywood star, who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip from his past.<\/span><\/i>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. After <\/b>Ballerina<\/i><\/b>, a fifth installment of the John Wick saga?<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Keanu Reeves<\/strong> is also set to star in <\/span>Constantine 2<\/span><\/i> and be involved in both a Netflix film and series adaptation of <\/span>BRZRKR<\/span><\/i>, a comic book he wrote. Moreover, after the critical and box office success of the latest <\/span>John Wick<\/span><\/strong><\/i> <\/strong>installment, the film industry is now wondering whether the hero, operating in New York, Paris and Berlin, will keep on performing stunts in a potential fifth chapter.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other words, could <\/span>John Wick 5<\/i><\/strong> become a reality? Director Chad Stahelski<\/strong> has often stated that <\/span>John Wick: Chapter 4<\/span><\/i> was meant to conclude the saga. Yet, Keanu Reeves<\/strong> told <\/span>Entertainment Weekly <\/span><\/i>in a 2023 interview: \u201c<\/span>I guess I\u2019m going to have to lean on never say never. I mean, I wouldn\u2019t do a John Wick film without Chad Stahelski<\/span><\/i>.\u201d So hope remains\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
