Vassili Schneider receives Best New Actor at the 36th Moli\u00e8re Awards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For nearly fifteen years, the Schneider<\/strong> siblings have made a name for themselves in French cinema, delivering captivating performances in films (Dark Diamond<\/em>, Silver Venus<\/em>) and acclaimed series (Greek Salad<\/em>, Of Money and Blood<\/em>). After a few interviews with the eldest one, Niels<\/strong>, now one of the most in-demand actors in Paris, and with Aliocha<\/strong>, the family\u2019s musical talent, Num\u00e9ro<\/em> shed lights on Vassili Schneider<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting out dubbing films in Quebec, the delicate-featured teenager moved to France on his 18th birthday and quickly made a mark with charismatic leading roles. From Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi<\/strong>\u2019s Forever Young<\/em> (2022) to the series Mixte<\/em><\/strong> (2021) and the summer hit The Count of Monte Cristo<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (2024), his face has become a staple on screens large and small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a striking change of register from his previous roles, Vassili Schneider<\/strong> went on stage and delivered a poignant solo performance based on Panayotis Pascot\u2019s 2023 novel La prochaine fois que tu mordras la poussi\u00e8re<\/strong><\/em>, directed by Pascot\u2019s brother, Paul Pascot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A role in Colours of Time<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this ambitious play that openly tackles grief and father-son conflict, Vassili Schneider<\/strong> proves he\u2019s more than just a pretty face. The show\u2019s run has been extended and continues to draw an ever-growing audience to the intimate Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Petit Saint-Martin. His intense performance won him the Best Male Newcomer award at the 36th Moli\u00e8re Awards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor then starred in Colours of Time<\/strong><\/em>, directed by C\u00e9dric Klapisch<\/strong>. Starring Suzanne Lindon and C\u00e9cile de France, the film premiered out of competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
