Having opened for Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong>, Chappell Roan has been embraced by major figures such as Troye Sivan<\/strong><\/a>, Ariana Grande<\/a>, Lady Gaga<\/a><\/strong>, and Elton John<\/strong>. Awarded at the 2025 Grammy Awards<\/strong><\/a>, she is now just as renowned for her electrifying music as for her strong stances (notably on musicians’ mental health) and her bold, burlesque sense of style.<\/p>

The new pop sensation certainly made a splash during her first appearance on red carpet of the Met Gala<\/a> last May. On stage and during her public appearances, Chappell Roan<\/strong> champions a flamboyant camp aesthetic reminiscent of Lady Gaga<\/strong>\u2019s extravagance and of the iconic drag queen Divine<\/strong>, muse of John Waters<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Donning Joan of Arc<\/strong><\/a>-inspired armor, a shimmering majorette bodysuit, a Statue of Liberty cosplay, colorful wrestler outfits, circus-inspired makeup, porcelain-like skin\u2026 The queer singer from the Midwest draws from cabaret, aerobics, and theater to create memorable looks.
