A handsome, mysterious boy riding his motorbike… The Netflix film saga\u00a0The Kissing Booth\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(2018-2021) is what put Jacob Elordi<\/a><\/strong> under the spotlight. The 28-year-old Australian embodied the older brother of the protagonist\u2019s best friend, who fell madly in love with him and his bad boy looks… While those films have contributed to the actor\u2019s fame and that of actress Joey King<\/strong>, they are far from being his best projects. As a matter of fact, he himself is not very proud of the teen romcom trilogy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gay romance, Frankenstein… Jacob Elordi\u2019s exciting projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, Jacob Elordi<\/strong> starred in many huge productions. On the small screen, he was the lead of the show\u00a0The Narrow Road to the Deep North<\/em> <\/strong>(2025). Based on Richard Flanagan<\/strong>\u2019s novel\u00a0The Narrow Road to the Deep North<\/em>, this drama is set in Asia during World War Two. Produced by Prime Video<\/strong> and available on Canal+<\/strong>, the series stages Jacob Elordi<\/strong> as a surgeon dealing with the devastation of prison camps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a different note, Jacob Elordi<\/strong> was the protagonist in Daniel Minahan<\/strong>\u2019s feature\u00a0On Swift Horses<\/strong><\/em>. This gay love story is set against a backdrop of tragedy and drama. The charismatic Julius (Jacob Elordi) meets a colleague (Diego Calva) with whom he gets romantically involved in secret during the mid-1950s. The Australian actor also worked with a big name in the industry \u2014 Mexican-American director Guillermo del Toro<\/a><\/strong>. The actor was expected to play a demanding role as Frankenstein\u2019s monster. Adapted from Mary Shelley<\/strong>\u2019s novel\u00a0Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, the Netflix production featured Jacob Elordi <\/strong>as a frightening creature.
