The Fall\/Winter 2025-2026 Fashion Week: The debuts of Sarah Burton at Givenchy and Haider Ackermann at Tom Ford<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While the British fashion house Burberry<\/a><\/strong> will show its collections on February 24th, 2025, in London, the Milan Fashion Week will take place from February 25th to March 3rd, 2025, with a whole host of shows to look forward to – starting with the return of Fendi<\/a><\/strong>, Gucci<\/a><\/strong> and Dsquared2<\/strong>, who were not on the men\u2019s catwalks but will present a unisex show for this Fall\/Winter 2025-2026 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From March 3rd to 11th, 2025, the Paris Women\u2019s Fall\/Winter 2025-2026 Fashion Week will round off this fashion marathon with a bang. For its final stretch, the shows will be full of surprises and highlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just a few months after presenting its Winter\/Spring 2025 collection in New York, Ala\u00efa<\/strong> will offer a Parisian show that will be closely watched on March 4th, 2025. After winning the LVMH Prize in September 2024, Swedish designer Ellen Hodakova Larsson<\/strong> will present her new show on March 6th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belgian fashion house Dries Van Noten<\/a><\/strong> is preparing to open a new chapter in its history with Julian Klausner, its newly appointed artistic director. The show will be held on March 5th, 2025, and will mark the beginning of the post-Dries era, with the promise of redefining the house\u2019s singular heritage in a renewed vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appointed artistic director at Tom Ford<\/a><\/strong> in September 2024, Haider Ackermann<\/a><\/strong> has been recently acclaimed for his collaboration with Canada Goose<\/strong> and his Snow Goose line. The designer is aiming to reinvent the house\u2019s wardrobe, previously led by Peter Hawkings<\/strong>, with elegance and audacity for his Parisian show on March 5th, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight of the week in Paris: Sarah Burton<\/strong>, former artistic director of Alexander McQueen<\/strong>, will present her first collection for Givenchy<\/a><\/strong> on March 7th, 2025. It\u2019s an eagerly-awaited handover that is already generating obvious enthusiasm within the industry…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the very first time, Loewe<\/a><\/strong> will opt for a presentation rather than a runway show to unveil its Fall\/Winter 2025-2026 collection on March 10th. At 8pm on the same day, Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re<\/strong> will unveil the new Louis Vuitton<\/a><\/strong> collection. The following day, on March 11th, Chanel<\/strong> will open the day with its 10am show, while Saint Laurent<\/strong> will close the Paris Fashion Week with its 8pm show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Men\u2019s Fall\/Winter 2025-2026 Fashion Week in Milan: a mix of surprises and absences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While Pitti Uomo<\/strong> took place in Florence from January 14th to 17th, 2025, Milan took over with the Men\u2019s Fashion Week from January 17th to 20th. The event was marked by the presentation of the MM6 Maison Margiela<\/strong> show on January 15th, as well as the latest collection by Japanese designer Satoshi Kuwata<\/strong>, winner of the LVMH prize in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Milan, Philipp Plein set the tone with a flamboyant show, true to its spectacular DNA. Yet, Milan was also conspicuous by notable absences this season, including JW Anderson<\/strong>, Fendi<\/strong> and Moschino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another notable change was that Gucci<\/strong> and Dsquared2<\/strong> skipped the men\u2019s runways to unveil unisex collections in joint shows during the Women\u2019s Fashion Week in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, some of the major fashion houses didn\u2019t miss the annual event. The eagerly-awaited Prada Fall\/Winter 2025-2026 show was held on January 19th, 2025, and Zegna, a key figure in Italian menswear, had the honour of closing the week with a memorable show on January 20th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
