I Want Your Sex<\/em>, Gregg Araki’s new film<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Who said the “Brat Summer<\/a><\/strong>” was over? After making her mark over the last three months with the album Brat<\/strong><\/em>, its videos and its gleaming remixes, Charli xcx<\/a><\/strong> will soon be making the headlines of the cinema news. Indeed, the singer will appear in the much-anticipated project I Want Your Sex<\/em><\/strong> by cult indie filmmaker Gregg Araki<\/strong> (The Doom Generation<\/em>, Mysterious Skin<\/em>, Nowhere<\/em>), which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known for his trashy, violent, countercultural and sexy aesthetic, the American director has a knack for bringing together magnetic stars on screen: Rose McGowan<\/a><\/strong>, Chiara Mastroianni<\/a><\/strong>, Eva Green<\/a><\/strong>, Shannen Doherty<\/strong>, Roxane Mesquida, Juno Temple and Traci Lords have already starred in his films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For I Want Your Sex<\/em>, Gregg Araki also hits hard by calling on (in addition to Charli xcx) actress and director Olivia Wilde<\/a><\/strong> (Don’t Worry Darling, Too Much<\/em>) and Cooper Hoffman<\/a><\/strong> (Licorice Pizza<\/em>), who is none other than Philip Seymour Hoffman<\/strong>‘s son\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Gregg Araki has worked in recent years on series (American Gigolo<\/em>, Now Apocalypse<\/em>, 13 Reasons Why<\/em>, Riverdale<\/em>, American Crime<\/em>…), he had not made a feature film since the sublime and disturbing White Bird<\/strong>,<\/em> released in 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
