The road was long but the London native eventually managed to leave the teen movie genre behind him and land in the world of independent cinema. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His beauty became ironic as he watched anarchy destroy New York behind the tinted windows of a limousine in <strong>David Cronenberg<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0<em>Cosmopolis<\/em> (2012), a bold adaptation of <strong>Don DeLillo<\/strong>\u2019s novel. Next came\u00a0<em>Maps to the Stars<\/em>\u00a0(2014) by the same director,\u00a0<em>The Lost City of Z<\/em>\u00a0(2016) by James Gray,\u00a0<em>Remember me<\/em> (2010), <em>Water for Elephants<\/em>\u00a0(2011) and\u00a0<em>Life<\/em>\u00a0(2015) by <strong>Anton Corbijn<\/strong>, a dramatic biopic in which he portrays photographer <strong>Dennis Stock<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One can question the direction of his earliest projects. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/numero.com\/en\/culture-en\/movies\/drama-kristoffer-borgli-robert-pattinson-zendaya\/\">Robert Pattinson<\/a><\/strong> missed a stratospheric career launch. The frenzy that surrounded the good-looking boy could have been a terrible curse, judging by how it affected the stars&#8217; children in the 1090s. Yet, against all odds, the actor has succeeded in renewing himself and completely changing course. The directors give us a fast-paced neo-thriller through the streets of Queens, New York, the true protagonist of the plot.\u00a0<em><strong>Good Time<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0reveals an obsession for marginal heroes, a complex reflection on Robert Pattinson\u2019s character. It was a tailor-made role for the British actor. The filmmakers called upon Ronald Bronstein, scriptwriter of\u00a0<em>Mad Love in New York<\/em>, to dive into the city\u2019s tabloids, scrutinising juvenile delinquency and acts of criminality that backfired.
