So it makes perfect sense that the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.numero.com\/cinema\/festival-cannes-2020-spike-lee-president-jury-blackkklansman-cinema-pierre-lescure-thierry-fremaux\" style=\"color: blue\">best known film festival in the world<\/a>&nbsp;celebrates&nbsp;<em>In the Mood for Love<\/em>&nbsp;once again, twenty years later. This time, the film will be shown on the Croisette among the Cannes Classics films and then released in theatres on July 8th&nbsp;in France in its newly restored version.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>This anniversary is timely for&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.numero.com\/cinema\/wong-kar-wai-prix-lumiere-lyon-in-the-mood-for-love-2046-happy-together-the-grandmaster\" style=\"color: blue\">for Wong Kar-Wai<\/a>&nbsp;who, already last year, stated that he wanted to see his entire filmography re-released in 4k. After the restauration of his masterpiece, viewers will once again be able to delight in the illicit affiar between Tony Leung&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.numero.com\/cinema\/maggie-cheung-actrice-chine-wong-kar-wai-in-the-mood-for-love-blosssoms-2046\" style=\"color: inherit\">and Maggie Cheung<\/a>, set to the haunting sounds of&nbsp;<em>Yumeji&rsquo;s Theme<\/em>&nbsp;by Shigeru Umebayaski<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Between captivating sets and stolen glances,&nbsp;<\/strong><em>In the Mood for Love<\/em>&nbsp;is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful love stories to grace the big screen.
