After releasing the singles Waves of Blue, Been Through That and Summer Rain during 2021, Canadian duo Majid Jordan unveiled their third album, Wildest Dreams, on Friday, October 22. Known for their music on the border between R’n’B, electro and pop, singer Majid Al Maskati and composer Jordan Ullman, who started the group, really launched their careers in 2013, when they signed to OVO Sound, Drake’s label.

The same year, Majid Jordan appeared on the Canadian rapper’s track Hold On, We’re Going Home, as well as on Beyoncé’s track Mine. Two singles that made the duo known to the general public, and which then allowed them to release an EP in 2014 and two albums in 2016 and 2017. Four years after their last project, the two artists unveiled a new album, composed of eleven tracks, including three featurings with Drake, Swae Lee, and Diddy. If some tracks evoke the songs of The Weeknd, the album is full of soft and atmospheric tracks, punctuated by introspective lyrics mostly focused on love.
