Kristen Stewart, muse for Chanel’s new Gabrielle perfume

Since 2013, the American actress Kristen Stewart has been lending her anti-conformist image to the house of Chanel. Today the legendary maison on the rue Cambon has announced that she will be the face of its new perfume, Gabrielle.

A few weeks ago she was embodying the spirit of Gabrielle Chanel in the campaign for their newest handbag, and now it’s been announced that Kristen Stewart will also be the face of a new perfume named Gabrielle, to be launched in September. The American actress joins Kate MossVanessa Paradis and Keira Knightley on an exclusively short list of Chanel perfume muses. Behind the camera of the campaign to accompany the perfume launch is British director Ringan Ledwidge (the imagination behind Massive Attack‘s video for Voodoo in My Blood), while French photographer Karim Sadli signs the images for the photo campaign.

A Chanel muse since 2013 The Personal Shopper actress has already played the founder of the iconic house in the rue Cambon in a video for the Métiers d’Art “Paris in Rome” collection in 2016. She’s also been the face of several beauty campaigns for the house, perhaps most notably the Rouge Collection n°1.
